If that rogue keeps camping auctioneers all day, yeah. He’s dead. Even on PvE servers. Camp some out of the way quest giver all day, sure. Major city autioneers? Dead.

And, yes, he was killed a lot.

He was so bad, he actually ended up on a top 10 list on Youtube for most memorable Classic players. Which I’m trying to find.

Right, so it happened extremely rarely. And likely at max level. Not sure what that has to do with layering though. If I got stuck in that situation, and REALLY had to use the AH, I could easily just pop over to one of the other cities. Or hang out and continue to help hunt a rogue.

Well, here’s the issue and I’ll connect it. My mind often skips from Point A to D. That’s my bad.

So. Here’s the thing. Back then, he did it because he was mad.

Nowadays, people will want to copy-cat for attention. And bringing all those communities into one, you’re bringing quite a few people who want that type of attention together.

See, you’ll see on the Alexensual thread that I watch streams from all types of people. Just him alone, he was planning on making a guild of nothing, but undead rogues to kill questgivers, streamers, etc.

Now, add in “Influencers” as they’re called now coming up with the same ideas, because, well, “It’s not against the rules of the server!”

I don’t watch streamers, so this is all not concerning to me. But there have always been this type of stuff going on in wow. Heck, during TBC I and few guildies kited Veradis from SMV to Shattrath, aggroed A’dal with him and used him to kill bankers, badge vendors and anyone AFKing around Shat.

Bored people in wow will do all sorts of things lol. I am just failing to see how layering for a few weeks while most people are leveling will effect any of this. But it might be time to agree to disagree on this subject :slight_smile:

I’ll be playing and layering won’t bother me. Then it will be gone and we’ll have healthy, high pop realms.

If you have any RP AddOns, you’d probably second-guess that. Almost anywhere you go on Moon Guard or Wyrmrest Accord - someone has one.

And no. In regards to Non-RP servers and RP servers. There will a far more non-RP servers than there will be RP servers. So you complaining about an issue that could happen in an RP server is complaining about a minority issue.

I explained the issues on an RP server and a PVP server, but, you know. It doesn’t fit the narrative you want to present.

Let me clarify this. Jealousy is wanting something others have. I said I’d take it if I had the option. Because the perks are too good to ignore.

Those perks shouldn’t be there to begin with is my point. The ability to switch and nab nodes, rare monsters, quest mobs, etc. to gain an unfair advantage over other players is quite a serious issue.

Yet you directly focused this on streamers, as I said before: Jealousy. And as I said before also: Anyone who in a guide can exploit this. Not just streamers.
