While I have no interest in arguing if something has or has not been done intentionally I will say it certainly FEELS like something is amiss. I’ve had zero issues getting through my Sons Dailies all week and today there are 5 people for every mob or frozen scrap node to be had. It’s crazy congested around the Son’s dailies. I’ve tried to layer hop and cannot get off what NIT is saying is ‘layer 2.’ In theory, Westfall has 5 layers but I sure can’t find my way off two to any other one.
Whatever is happening be it slow firing up or a change I hope it gets sorted too. This much player congestion is not fun.

I will tell you what I am noticing on Pagle.
I logged on this morning, Dalaran had easily 4 times more people there than any other time I have been there for the last week. The lag was unbearable, looting took at least five seconds to stand up from the looting animation, quests were taking far too long to pick up and turn in, and the announcement was made for server restarts.
After about 20 minutes the servers were back up. Logged in, and there are still easily four times more people in Dalaran than there has been at any other time for the last week. Its PACKED.
Something is wrong with the layering - OR, if this is intended, its bad. There are too many people.
I will have to go have a peeksie at Dalaran. In Grizzly Hills right now and am not noticing anything, but that may well just be that there aren’t many people here period.

It has thinned out a little bit in the last 30 minutes, either a layer has spawned or people are leaving to go do things. Still super crowded compared to every other day/time I have been here for a week.
Yeah, was just running around so yeah maybe it is thinning out, or fixed itself. I am still leveling so I haven’t been spending time here so I dunno how many people there should be. Ah well, back to levelin’.
Lag is picking up again - currently there are about 3x more people than normal. I am in Dal a lot, and something has definitely changed.

Anyway, hopefully they fix it. I saw a post a minute ago about Blizzard’s servers being on fire because OW2 launched… maybe the network issues are causing things not to be able to spin up new layers. crosses fingers that they say something/it fixes soon. I wanna finish leveling not have the game explode.

Its week 2 of release people went back to work which means less people on during the day which means less layers which means more competetion for mobs.
As someone was upset at the falling prices of saronite, this makes me happy. less layers means less minerals and mining, meaning more expensive sells.
Don’t play a MASSIVE MULTI-PLAYER ONLINE RPG then…
