Blizzard has yet to address this community issue, players who got cap early have a very big advantage at the moment and needs to be fixed

If anyone is looking for an answer as to why the OP wants the honor wipe… Refer to my post here
starting off arena season 1 with 4pce pre-s1 BiS while others have to grind for weeks is not okay. The discrepancy between dungeon blues vs 70 honor gear in terms of resilience is too big to be overlooked.

Cry about it and see if that helps. I bet half the people playing weren’t even aware the honor was bugged.
Nobody is blaming the players. It’s 100% blizzard’s fault. However, with all the hype around arena season 1 I think an issue such as this should be addressed before we start the arena season.

The wording choice was simply to accommodate Blizzard’s decision, and the solutions suggested by this post does not penalize players who took advantage but put everyone on equal ground in preparation for arena season 1… By reverting the honor nerf everyone can stockpile 75k honor, by wiping honor on june 1st people can use their bugged honor to buy lvl 60 pvp gear which will have no impact on arena season 1. Keeping things as they are creates a large gap (nearly 2-3 weeks more of pvping) between players who took advantage vs players who did not.
This is messed up indeed, even so more from the fact that even people that benefited from it still called it out as an issue. A lot of players will suffer with this but as usual Blizz won’t do anything about it after the bug was “fixed”.
tbh the honor wipe would be best… despite the crying from the community it would benifit the player base drastically. i did abuse the bug but i agree with a honor wipe. it would be in their best interest to do this.

they could look at the logs from patch day to when hotfix came out and rollback the honor. that would work aswell.

Get grinding.
Honor right now is incredible, ive made almost 30k honor this weekend playing less than 5 hours a day because of the weekend bonus on top of the already implemented bonus blizzard gave us.
Instead of complaining go a head and build a premade and grind out the honor, its not as bad as you think, you can easily grind 75k honor with 3x100 marks within a week.

The PvP season doesn’t start on June 1st, you’ll have more time to farm still.
Couple things. I’m pretty sure they’ve performed an honor wipe at the start of an expansion before (Wrath? I’m not 100% on this). As long as they announce the wipe in advance so that players can buy the lvl 60 (but not level 70) gear for cosmetic reasons or whatever then players will have a chance to do something with it.
There’s already a BLUE post saying honor WONT be reset.

Thank god. I’ve farmed over 50kish honor after the honor fix. Would be pissed if it reset after I did all that!
I actually vouch for Honor reset now. I am not tolerating this; if you wont give us the same opportunity then wtf should I honor everybody elses?
Oh wait; I have a real life brother that took advantage of it though. But after all the ignoring and mistreatment of costumers. I want the reset more then anything now.
