Because this post is unnecessary trolling. You realize this same question has been asked 20 times a day for 6 days, right? Making this thread is either trolling or being illiterate. Read the other posts. Here, I’ll even do his work for him and link him to some:
Just the usual copy/paste because we get 20 of this exact thread every day.
Players who have stockpiled Classic honor will have a huge advantage the moment they ding 70 in TBC, purchasing full PvP sets on day 1. Farming honor in a previous expansion should not let you purchase PvP gear in the new expansion. You should have to earn it fresh.
Don’t let the honor stay, otherwise you are going to have level 70s on day 1 with full PvP sets griefing and wiping the floor with players in quest greens.

It’s nice, we’re to the point where I can just copy paste responses to these threads.
Technically, it’s against the forum ToS to create “extraneous” topics - essentially recreating threads that are already being actively discussed. But I don’t mind. I can just copy/paste.
So those that pvp’d yesterday should have an advantage at 70? This was pretty huge… So don’t wipe it on 6/1, wipe 90% of it.
It is unfair to players who were unable to play yesterday at the escalated rates. Blizzard needs to reset honor gain to what it was and wipe honor/marks on TBC launch.
That’s just from like today
