Blizz needs to state whether or not honor points will be wiped ASAP to assuage people’s fears of capping now only for “lol here’s some gold noob, now go grind bgs😂”.

There was also statements made by blizz for an extended prepatch, blue gear on boosts, etc. They need to wipe it

I don’t understand how you all can defend this. I’ve been on and off this game since I was in high school and I never felt this screwed over before.
Hugh, mate look. I’ve been grinding my butt off this weekend for like 1.4k~ honor per hour ok.
if they wipe this i’m going to have to cry in a corner. At this point i don’t care if people have 100k honor but if they wipe my 20 hours of invested time trying to catchup then i might just cry

There is? I haven’t seen one. Don’t get me wrong, personally I think they should be able to keep the honor. I simply don’t recall a definitive “we aren’t wiping the honor post 6/1” anywhere.
I respect homies, if they can at least listen to some reason. I don’t want you to lose any of your work. I don’t want ANYBODY losing their work.
But after reading these forums for these past 3 days just looking for a equal footing; I’ve seen nothing but insults and “grow up”. I’m 28 years old; how much bigger can I grow?
Honor should stay due to all the brainlet boosters we’ve had to deal with the past week.

Best thing about this all; Im not a booster, I’ve been on this char since classic. Im not one of those dudes.
There was a blue post talking about the honor changes / how its reset on prepatch and we keep these values going into launch.
Let me see if i can track it down. Sadly if i google “TBC classic honor” or similar all i see are forum threads complaining about the honor values 
The complaints have been legitimately irritating lol.

Google it yourself… some were statements at blizzcon and others were published by blizzard themselves leading up to this disaster

I’m not talking about honor, I am talking about blizzard going back on official statements very recently. They could wipe honor regardless of what is being said, and they should.
No competitive arena players will think S1 mattered if they let you carry over honor. Season open will have over geared teams hitting glad and parking first 2 weeks
They sort of did. Kaivax said, and I quote, “Anything you earn in the prepatch will still be yours after Outland content unlocks on June 2nd”.

At this point, blizz could make this last week 10x honor boost. Seriously. Just even the grounds or wipe the honor and compensate players who farmed it with gold/resources.
