Returning player can't find any OLD characters

can it see where you have had ones on servers with no characters on them?

I don’t understand the question, Ironsights.

what i meant was, there were some servers that i deleted all from and i cant remember if i found them all. sorry for the confusion. also, was it windrunner server? i don’t see a windseeker server. thanks for your help

Windseeker is Cataclysm Classic, I only listed characters on Modern WoW. Mostly because you have a total of 2 characters on the Classic versions. a level 2 Dwarf Hunter in Classic Era on Pagle and a level 5 Dwarf Hunter in Cataclysm Classic on Windseeker.

Was what Windrunner server? You don’t have any characters on that realm, active or deleted.

You have a deleted Death Knights on Altar of Storms, Darkspear, and Stonemaul, but those are level 60 and under. You have a level 61 Orc Hunter on Draenor. All other realms I listed already.

Hello! I’m trying to restore a very old character for my dad when he used to play WOW back in 2008-2010. Is there any chance that a level 90 Human Warrior named jiant can be found? I thought it was in the Gnomeragon server but I can’t find it anywhere.

Finding one by that name - but it’s only level 28. Last accessed in 2020

ahh okay thank you. I appreciate the quick response very much!!

is it possible for someone to take the name if it hasn’t been active for a long time?

I’m also wondering if there could be characters in realms that aren’t being shown?

is there any chance that a level 90 character is present on this account at all? If not, i’ll probably have to contact Blizzard since he mentioned he had another account.

I apologize for asking so many questions.

We are presuming it’s the right account/license.

I only see one character on that license exactly level 90 and that is a Tauren Shaman.

If this is an extremely old license that was never put onto a Battlenet Account, I may not be looking at the right one.

Did he have a Battletag?

Unfortunately, he never put his account on a Battlenet Account and doesn’t have a Battletag.

Since he mentioned he had 2 accounts, I think I might be looking at the wrong one then.

I only have some personal information about him that he may have used on the account when subscribing to WOW at that time, but idk how useful that may be.

Things like that would need to be shared through a ticket I’m afraid.

Anything you can remember. The name - the characters name/level/realm - that you don’t think it was ever ON a Battlenet tells me that the one I’m looking at isn’t it. Address at the time.

I know it’s hard to remember details that old, but those old licenses can be a little tricky if they were never associated with a Battlenet.

Very tricky, yes. I will try to make a ticket with them and hope they can retrieve non-Battlenet accounts. Thank you again for all your help!

I have been wondering this same question: I played for years on another now unused account. Should I have hope that I can get my hands on them again?

Mal’Ganis I believe. I had horde toons,
2 druids (Bullgawd, Lugokanu)
rogue Ladanian (I believe he was goblin at the time, started as undead)
Death Knight Jurkovicz
hunter Girth
and others. Most were maxxed towards the end of WotLK

Honestly I’d love to see them but what I really want is all of the stuff i had collected and earned over time. I have new toons that are getting up there and Id love to get them equipped with things I feel like I have

If the account is registered in your name, it should be avaliable for recovery through the ticket process.

If it is before battlenet billing should be able to add it to your bnet account. If it already has an email login then unfortunately it will remain separate.

Ticket process in game? Never filed a ticket dont know where to go…

The account was probably under the same email all that time ago…probably.

I will try to submit a ticket. Thanks.

On the forum there should be a link to the support system, use the contact us option. You do not have to be in game to put in a ticket

An account couldn’t be under the same email address, that can only be used on a single Battle.net account. However, it does look like it was similar. The account uses the same email except is is @yahoo.

I don’t see that you have an Authenticator on it, so if you still have access to that Yahoo address you should be able to recover the account yourself simply by resetting the password.

Hi Vrakthris,

Many years ago I once had a character named either Dreadlock or Dreadlocke, made it to max level as a Human Warlock before a faction change to Orc (or maybe it was the other way around. My memory these days is like an Etch-a-Sketch, a good shake and the screen is wiped). I remember deleting it, but not the reason why anymore. I don’t remember the server, though it *might have been on Terenas? Any possible way of finding it and if so undeleting it?

It looks like the character is on Terenas, currently deleted.

You should be able to restore the character through the Character Selection screen. Just click on Realms at the top of the page, select Terenas, then click on the Undo icon and select the character you want to undelete.

You will likely need to wait until maintenance has been completed.

Thank you for the swift reply! I didn’t see it listed last time nostalgia took ahold of me, but this was before DF. I’ll look again! I think I deleated it back after WotLK, so that was a long time ago lol
