hi guys, im returning after a 6 year break like the title says…I’m unable to access my bank, it was just me and my bro, I am def the leader and have checked permissions, is their a cooldown or something i dont know about? I did the interface reload and changed the folder names, nothing worked
if you’re talking about the character you’re posting with, it’s rank 3.

yeah that was my brother, he didn’t wanna pay for membership, anyways i was able to take back control, this is 1 of my 10 alts in the guild, like I said, I’m the leader
when you say you’re unable to access it, do you mean you can’t view it, or you can’t withdraw /deposit?
which permissions did you check?
there are various permission assignments
…but as guild leader, you should be able to modify them all

whenever i try to open the vault it says I dont have permission to do that, everything else works fine, I have literally tried everything, but yeah my bad, i can’t even look inside
i know you said you’ve “literally tried everything”… but have you been into the guild control panel and checked bank tab permissions?

yes sir I did, quite a few times, all I can think of is its some kind of cooldown or something, i have no addons installed or anything, but yes i forsure made sure that was all looked over
I wonder - do you have an authenticator on that account? Could there be a 7 day cool down in play?

i havent had one on since i quit years ago, everything else in the game has worked fine except for opening the vault
in the guild control/rank permissions tab, check that “requires authenticator” is unticked

that is unticked 100% I know how dumb this all sounds but im being serious, and my bags + banks on my characters are a disaster, im stressing so bad, but it is def unchecked
Sadly it may not be a bad idea to submit a ticket and ask a GM to look at it, but first you may want to try doing a full UI reset, just to rule that out.

not much point stressing over it, i’m sure it’s something simple, someone will be able to help you figure it out.
sometimes stuff like this resolves itself with something as basic as relogging.
…or other times, it’s something glaringly obvious which everyone is over looking.
if the issue persists, open a ticket and a GM can check if something weird is going on.

First thing u should do is get a autthenticator back on asap this cant be stressed enough.

im adding the auth now, i did a full UI reset, I opened a ticket it says 36 hours so i will just chill for now. thanks for the help everyone, i will post here whenever this is fixed

I added the auth and didn another full UI reset still no luck, this is the character i made the guild leader, posting just incase
hey i think i figured it out!!, i tried to send myself mail and it said " cannot do that with a trial account" or very close, and i just paid for the top edition with the expansion upgrade and free month

even though im upgraded the payment thing still says pending, so technically the game still thinks im a free trial lol, once it goes from pending to complete i know it will work

ah in that case payments can take up to 72hrs or so to clear and process. after that if you still have issues possibly contact billing.

Even if the financial aspects cleared instantly, the system always delays releasing the social (communication, economy, grouping) restrictions by up to 24 hours. The level cap comes off immediately but the stuff the bad guys really want to use take some time to frustrate people trying to create new toons for gold spamming and the like. File that fact under “why we can’t have nice things.”
