Return to the Icy Realm of Northrend in World of Warcraft®: Wrath of the Lich King Classic™

TBC It is already hard to find group for anything. Wrath will have the same issue later on. Dungeon finder would def help it

I guess this answers the question if were getting a Classic Cata. Big nope no LFD no real player base, no real playerbase no need to continue the classic servers way to kill classic wow for good

No LFD.

What if you’re stuck on a dead server, or don’t have a guild, or can’t find people to play with because the community is toxic and clique-ish? I don’t have tons of money to keep paying for server transfers and people will always be the way they are. I was looking forward to LFD because it was more inclusive and people had the opportunity to see and do content without toxic players gatekeeping their gameplay.

Hope everyone rushes to 80 so you can do basic and heroic dungeons before the boosters and GDKPs take over again entirely. need to get those leveling quests done for the nexus or utgarde? too bad, no groups. wholesale removal of a popular feature is a bad plan. Just add the wow token to Lk at this point since ya’ll wanna make bad choices.

the people pushing “the community” don’t look outside of their guilds. the community is fine if you’re guilded. LFD wouldn’t have hurt that at all.

Roll on a populated realm and befriend some tanks and healers. DPS are never in short supply so as long as you have those roles covered you’ll have no problems filling groups quickly.

no thank you

I like that you don’t need a 55 character to make a DK.
New players can jump right in with a DK if they want.

I like this change, too, actually. Thank god they wont allow boosted DK’s.

I just went from 100% interested to 1% interested!

Another classic expansion where if you don’t level up and reach end game with your intended class in the first 2-3 months, just stop playing.

Best Example is TBC, wanted to switch mid-expansion from paladin, worst healer, to shaman, best healer, and the biggest ordeal was/is just reaching max level. 1-60 was basically impossible, and trying to do dungeons from 50-60 involves a lot of SPAMMING AND WAITING.

The immense frustration I feel, not being able to simply log in and play, which is what I can do with VIRTUALLY ANY OTHER GAME just makes me want to log out, quit, and frankly, maybe never return.

I left TBC when Elden Ring came out, and my desire to return and play is based more on FOMO than actually enjoying TBC. I was actively thinking “forget tbc” and get excited for wrath, cause at least there I will have LFG to remove that frustration and nonsense.

But NO, the ONE feature I was most eager for is the one they want to remove!

No other modern game does this, and there’s a reason it was implemented in the first place: to avoid having so many players basically stranded who would rather play something other than spam & wait!

Blizzard the top liked comments in this thread are about how removing LFD is a bad idea, it’s punitive for no reason. Those who hate LFD can still sit and spam chat or watch a mod parse the chat to get groups, but the feature was objectively a good thing. Low pop servers will die even faster, mega pop server chats will just become even worse.

Have you logged into a mega pop realm and looked at LookingForGroup? I dare you to enjoy watching spam for SP or Slabs boosts while trying to spot the one group asking for your class/spec before it flies by.

Not to mention how bad trying to find a group for low level folks is.

WE WANT DUNGEON FINDER! Reverse your decision and make everyone happy!

Just make it so it finds your group but people still need to run to the dungeon or summon. Also make it server-bound and not cross-realm. Problem solved.

The Ideal compromise for me is LFD for non WOTLK dungeons and no LFD for WOTLK content. I really don’t care for it in current content but I wish it existed for leveling content so maybe there is a possibility you could lvl playing the game instead of afk getting boosted.

I have only 1 pally and 6 other dps alts.

I’ve never posted on a blizzard forum before and I’m a long time blizzaed player since the original Diablo, but the announcement of no Dungeon Finder feature in wrath classic necessitates a response of extreme disappointment.

This is the feature I was most looking forward to and would make the game actually playable instead of sitting around spamming to find group members for an hour to do a dungeon.

RDF made it possible to easily multi-task and do dailies or farm resources while finding a group for a dungeon as well as the ability to earn badge gear slowly if you dont have the time or inclination to raid.

Please reconsider your decision.

Yeah, I have no idea how this is a positive change. Spamming chat for hours to find a group just doesn’t seem like “community” to me.

No Dungeon Finder lol, removing one of the best QOL improvements because of a vocal minority? If someone doesn’t want to use a tool, they can choose not to use it. Removing it from the vast majority of us who have been waiting for this seems heavy handed. If someone wants to spam LFG for an hour or more to find a group, they have that option. If someone wants to use Dungeon Finder to help find a group for something while they spend their time questing, running dailies, leveling, etc., now they do not have their authentic WotLK experience, they get the current Classic/TBC experience, just to spite them it seems.

Thank you I suppose, you just saved me $15 a month. To think I spent so much of my time and effort just waiting to relive that experience in Wrath… Holding off on leveling alts for when the grind was actually fun: interspersed with random dungeons I otherwise would never get to experience while leveling, such as Ragefire Chasm, Wailing Caverns, Shadowfang Keep, etc., because no one on Alliance has regular access to them. Plus being able to hop on at night when LFG is essentially dead, and still being able to find a dungeon with some players in EU or Asia via the dungeon finder, without wasting massive amounts of time trying to find enough people across a language barrier to be able to form a group… Just pure and simple griefing. I hope the vocal minority is happy.

God what a disappointment.

You clowns can’t get anything right, who the hell asked for no dungeon finder?! Reverse course dummies.

No dungeon finder? Then no subscription. I started playing tbc again to prep for wotlk. Now zero motivation to do so and subscription is cancelled.

They are seriously sleeping on what should be a major issue.

As it stands, the game is horrible if you don’t start in the first few months - which is why then people get involved in boosting and RMT.

Which is how you end up with an expansion where people are more eager to BID GOLD for gear than roll for it!

So there are no toxic players in RDF? Yeah okay.
