Return lfr to personal loot

It’s still considered an upgrade at that point.

I wouldn’t call it a purely balanced sample, no, but it is likely those more dedicated or outspoken on these things and one of the best places we have to view.

With your statement, however, we could ostensibly dismiss any individual viewpoint presented on the forums on that basis alone.

spritzes water hush. Go suggest things to make the difficulties you do less appealing and leave scrubland alone.

Alternatively, require anyone raiding mythic to observe a cinematic where Malfurion explains self control and how not to burn yourself out racing other nerds in a video game every time they enter a lower raid.

Vast majority pass? Vast majority only join to roll and give to guild mates - why else is 480 in LFR

Solves the some of the main problems that people complain about in LFR. There will be fewer high geared players to roll against for loot, and the people who choose to stay there will win more rolls by virtue of the game dropping more items.

It may be, which is why you can Need on it. Your post didn’t mention ‘upgrade’ though, only that you can’t Need an item that you own with same name and higher item level.

tmog, mount chance, to test out a new build, to get a trinket they havent had drop yet in other raid drops, for a chance at the leggo, for the role loot bags, for gold, for flightstones.

heaps of reasons. They cant need roll on tier either which is the only needed thing outside of a couple trinkets from raid. low level mythic + is repeatable and would get you geared far quicker than relying on lfr

Apart from the obvious advantage PL has over GL by being able to sidestep loot begging toxicity, the other thing PL was immune to was the recent rise of kicking people out of a group just before a boss is about to die and thus denying them from being eligible to roll on any loot that drops.

The more you know. :rainbow:

Lol why is the OP flagged?

People use false flagging as an alternative to a downvote button.

I disagree with your assessment of why people flag! I will therefore flag your post, thus proving you correct!..wait

LFR loot rate’s fine. I geared up 7 chars this patch through LFR and it went quick every time. 3 weeks or so every time to get a veteran or champ item for every slot between LFR drops, ED weekly drops, vault, and crafting up the sparks. I only geared up to that level tho, didn’t take any further.

Please teach me how to get into LFR at 415, I would grab those vault slots so fast.

It uses your bag item level, so it’s not that hard. Lowest I’ve done is 419 though.

There isn’t any advantage to Pl let alone an “obvious one”

That would still mean I would have to have gear that would puts me above or at 424. I’m talking a practically fresh 70 that you wanna gear.

I believe TL4 means how PL makes some people feel like losing because the computer decided is not as bad as losing when a person pushed a button and then the computer decides who wins.

Yeah, I’m just saying how it’s possible since you asked.

I mean this is the nicest way but I don’t care about someone’ who’s so fragile they get upset over losing a roll.

All I can think about when I see those complaints is how spoiled and babied they are

Lol I’m sure anyone that’s ever popped into GD would expect nothing less from you

I generally agree though. With either system the computer decides and making the choice to hit roll at the boss or roll need for everything when I queue is the same.

MOP we had PL in LFR you got loot or did not and it was for your spec end of story if someone else gets or does not get loot it was on there boss roll like with world bosses and blooms now.

"Here’s how the new Raid Finder system will work in Mists of Pandaria:

  • The boss dies.
  • The game automatically decides who won some loot, and gives those players a spec-appropriate item.
  • Some players may still get mad, but hopefully they are mad at the laws of probability and not at the rest of the raid."

In Cataclysm, Heroic dungeons were intentionally designed as gear and difficulty checks on the progression to raiding. In Mists of Pandaria, the Raid Finder will be the appropriate transition from running dungeons to Normal raids. Heroic dungeons will largely be tuned to be about as difficult as they were in Wrath of the Lich King, allowing players to fairly quickly down bosses in PUGs and hit their Valor Point caps. Valor Points will follow a new philosophy with 4.3, as a parallel way to gear up alongside the Raid Finder, but not as a fill-in for boss drops.

The overall goal for this expansion is that any time you log in, you should be able to make some kind of progress on your character. Whether that’s through Normal or Heroic raiding, queuing for a Raid Finder run, hitting dailies for rewards and VP, busting out a scenario with some strangers, or joining some buddies for a dungeon Challenge, we want you to be making meaningful progression on your character. Some ways will be faster than others, but no matter what you choose to do, you’ll be making progress.

The goals for dungeons and raids in Mists of Pandaria are to create epic and challenging experiences, but Cataclysm also helped us learn where we can improve with the new expansion. The Raid Finder will help with taking that first step into endgame content, and it will be available for all Mists of Pandaria raids. Beyond that, we want to create more easily understandable encounters and move away from mechanics that simply set up groups to fail, while still keeping them challenging.
you had the same chance at loot in every run.
