That’s your ego. My 60g is just as important as your upgrade.
They got rid of ML because, as I mentioned in another thread, it wasn’t fun watching an upgrade you’ve been after go to the guild master’s e-girlfriend or best friend who only shows up once in a while… usually beginning and end of a patch, to which neither ever really pulled their weight. This kind of thing, or very similar was far too common.
People continued trying to rationalize their clearly disingenuous needs over someone else for the sole purpose of trying to wind others up.
Correct, returning to Personal Loot makes no sense.
Same happened under Personal Loot, just the game automatically rolled for everyone behind the scenes. Group Loot is better because players with the same item even at higher item levels cannot roll Need on those items (including tier tokens).
I just did.
This is nothing new. Personal Loot won’t change this as the system literally enforces the “MINE MINE MINE” mentality some players have. You are displaying that very mentality here: “It’s my loot, Blizzard! Give me MY loot!!!” Just because a player has more gear than you does not entitle you to take all the loot.
Same thing happens under Personal Loot, but worse as players can get the same item they already have and choose not to trade it to you so they can vendor it, sell it to a player, or keep it for the appearance.
Yes, that’s why Blizzard dumped the bad Personal Loot system and went back and improved the old Group Loot one.
You’re right, we can’t trust you to be nice nor selfless.
They already did by removing Personal Loot. Amen.
I use weekly open world events for my gear. It’s the same ilevel. And then I learned to fill the Vault row to get 6 tokens to make an enchanted crest to get 476 gear for other slots.
I honestly don’t know why people waste their time in LFR for ilevel.
No they’re trying to rationalize their arbitrary needs are EQUAL to someone else’s.
Luckily, they’re not.
it wasn’t fun watching PL give me the same boots every time i killed a boss that i need to drop the trinket and it give it out to everyone else… PL was worse for the game because it was like everyone rolling need for a slot then watching it roll on x items that the boss drops praying you can win double lotteries… so no, you don’t understand how PL is worse for the game
No it wasn’t.
It’s also impossible to ninja loot.
Stop using terms you don’t know the meaning of.
I do understand and I was a lot happier with it.
I didn’t use any term I don’t know the meaning of. Everything I said was correct.
Anything else?
What you do or don’t consider is irrelevant.
To some people transmogs is their progression. You don’t get priority because you’re undergeared.
Period.
100% incorrect. Joining a group means you agree to the loot system and decisions. That still happens now and that’s not why ML was removed.
ML was removed because some people weren’t able to read what the loot system was or didn’t pay attention when loot rules were stated (ie in pugs xyz dps requirement for high ticket items or if items were in reserve) these people who didn’t pay attention would then flood the GMs with qq tickets
End of the day you really don’t know what you’re talking about.
You mentioned ninja looting and it’s literally impossible in todays game to ninja loot.
Nothing you have said has been correct.
I could say the exact same thing.
Sorry, but rationalizations don’t work with me.
You could. You’d be wrong.
Considering I already have one example where you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Neither does reality/facts apparently.
If you’re going to be disingenuous, please do it with someone else. I have no interest in your nonsense.
Remember, if they can’t queue for it, it doesn’t exist.
I don’t think this works entirely as we have been told. Or maybe I don’t understand it properly myself.
For instance, I can roll Need on the LFR mace this Druid is using, even though I have the Normal version.
The only one being disingenuous here is you.
I’d love for you to explain how it’s possible to “ninja loot” in the current game so then when I tell you that rolling need and winning isn’t actually ninja looting you can admit you’re wrong.
We’ve come back yet again to the Pally who can’t roll Need on the Agi Polearm, though.
All indications point to Upgrade > Transmog > Greed as the core intent. Anything else subverts the expectations of many (obviously, by the number of forum posts we see each week) and the logical inferences we can make from what is “allowed”.
No you can’t.
You can only roll on items that have a different name.
If I have heroic/normal/mythic signet brand and I go do LFR and signet brand and ashes drop. I can roll on ashes but I can not roll on signet brand.
