Had to relog game for a talent save issue. I have since been looking at “retrieving character list” for about 15 mins. I have even reloaded the game thinking a bug.

Yeah, this is being reported in multiple threads. Hopefully Blizzard is working on it.
Same issue here. Was looting a boss in an M0 dawnbreaker and suddenly my char couldnt loot or mount and couldnt aggro mobs to die. I couldnt relog or exit game either. Now I am sitting on “Retrieving character list” for over 15 mins now. Tried logging from another comp to no avail
Same. I’m on the Stormrage realm. Was playing the Campaign in Tazavesh when things stopped responding. Restarted WoW. Initially, it said Stormrage was offline but now it shows online though it has an infinite character loading screen.
Not sure if related but the forums are VERY slow right now.

Same, took my DK portal in Dornogol to runecraft, hit with perma loading screen, now I’m stuck retrieving as well. Forums are also loading extremely slowly. Their servers must be packed.
Same issue. Tazavesh campaign quests, went to loot, couldn’t leave loot. Did a full reboot and repair, still staring at retrieving character list 10min later.

I’d suggest you also post in bug reports - the team that fixes these kinds of things doesn’t monitor CS. The Blues here may pass issues on at times, but there’s a chance it might be seen a little faster in bug reports.ues
Did World boss, Game froze, everyone running in place, kicked out to log in screen.
Now cant get to character selections, game freezes, no menus work.
Deleted AddOns folder, did scan and repair, no improvement.
Frustrating, but I totally get it. Its the first content patch this game has ever had… oh…wait…
I keep getting “Character Not Found” which is… scary.
I thought it was just me! gosh… what’s going on? is it a bug?
Howdy! Was playing fine 30 mins ago. Logged off to feed the dog and let him roam the backyard a bit. Tried to log back on a short bit ago and ran into the same problem. Not surprised with it being patch day, but it’s still giving me supreme sadness.

Yo, tried again just a few seconds ago and logged in perfectly fine. Maybe it was a hiccup?
EDIT: Well, I could select my character, but it wouldn’t make it past the loading screen.
