so they fed a bunch on info to a popular youtuber!!!color me completely surprised!!! now lets look at it in practice. show me anywhere that they have used data from warcraft logs or icy veins to make a decision? or how about the fact that if they were actually listening to the forums then they wouldnt be putting in the new affixes considering the amount of negative posts about them but oh wait they are blizz they dont care about our opinions they do what they want and feel.

Again, this is my 3rd one on a different subject about Paladins. I will make any posts on anything I feel is WoW GD newsworthy. Like I told the other person, if you donāt like my threads then just donāt post in it and let it sink to the bottom instead of bumping it. Have a nice day. 
About time someone knocked those rogues out of the top spot. Now just tweak those bottom guys up a bit and it will look rather nice.

Doesnāt seem to matter what the charts say is on top. So far the BM hunters are still dominating the charts in my guildās raids.
So if you make a post that says Thrall touched your no no, do you think weāre going to throw him in the Stockades?
They also have brains and use common sense. While I support the nerfs Ret received, itās important to point out that this one chart from Warcraft Logs shows only a small fraction of the information needed to balance classes.
The WoW community is so focused on numbers and data, but the average player hasnāt a clue how to interpret any of it. Smh.

They didnāt, but as far as the ānerfsā are now, most of them are more scalpel instead of axe. I.E. number/% tuning so they can find a vision of ret that fits what they want.
Rets, or any class/spec, should not be overwhelmingly above the others, nor should any class be bottom of the barrel. Like if the average is B tier no one should be above A or under C.

Ret has top average damage on Razageth and Broodkeeper only.
Which makes sense. They both feature cleave phases which line up nicely with Retās short offensive CDs, while still having consistent single target damage. These are fights which Ret performed very well on before the re-work.
Itās close on Terros, but Survival is averaging higher by about 1k DPS for the number 1 Terros spot.
And in terms of actual rankings, Ret only has a number 1 spot, and a fight which they sort of hold hostage in Terros.
Itās not like Primal Council where nobody but Frost DK and Balance Druid can get close to being a top 10 parse, or like Eranog where only Fire Mages and Demo exists.
Ret still performs middle on Kurog. Still performs middle on Dathea, Still performs middle on Council.
Ret has only climbed up significantly in fights that it already did well on, and thatās specifically because the 1 minute wings buff their damage during the relevant cleave phase(s)
Edit: change every point of data to ādamage to bossesā and watch Ret fall off the face of Azeroth

Iām old school so I feel classes with lots of utility and in particular healing shouldnāt be able to be top and thatās coming from someone whoās exclusively been playing hybrid DPS since the middle of Wrath.
Iām not talking a return of the old hybrid tax but it doesnāt seem right that a spec that can heal on top of everything else should be higher than Mages, Rogues, Locks or Hunters.
At some point the āpuresā need more self sustain if this is how Blizz is going to balance things.
All of those classes have very good defensives and self healing, the horror
