It’s not just dmg and defensives, there’s also CC and mobility.

Ret died more than most because they were melee with on the GCD defensives and mobility, you can’t dodge crap if your mobility is on the gcd.
That was fixed for mobility(horse off gcd now), also as a plate class, it was the only one without extra stamina, DK’s and Warrs have it since Alpha/Beta.
Hunters are a ranged class (sans Survival) so they’re not in as much danger as a melee is generally.
Statistically ret was among the top ones which died the most… a melee plate wearing and with healing spec, being made of glass, was nonsensical.

I mean I wanna make it pretty clear that looking at ptr testing BM hunter was all over the top 5 in aberrus.
I know hunters on the forums may not like this fact, but most of the fights are ST next tier. Where BM shines. And even in PTR testing, they were top 5 on nearly every fight that was tested. Do I think it needed a 3% nerf? No. But do I still think they will be top 5? Yes.
Ret’s got brez, the new aura thats bonkers, blessings, cleanse, best immunity in the game, serviceable offheals (not counting LoH), it had great burst but now its got top damage with basically no ramp up and almost whackamole rotation…
Well, I know that it shouldn’t be a class that can replace healers in end game content, be a class that is the top of the bracket for Solo Shuffle, or can’t join other tanks as DPS in Solo Shuffle due to being too OP. A hybrid jack of all trades shouldn’t be #1 and shift the meta in the same season due to a rework that was only supposed to address the talent tree and button bloat.
It kind of feels like you are insinuating ret pallies are somehow not worthy of being high dps like a rogue, warlock of hunter is. That’s kind of weird. Somebody has to be on top and everyone should have their day in the sun.
No there is no more hybrid tax. Pallys get to be on top for a while. Big whoop. I dont play one but good for them. Now what does need a heavy nerf is death knights
Because warriors no longer being S tier for tanking and now below Paladins as well for Solo Shuffle and DPS meters in Raids so warrants more Warrior nerfs after the handful and stealth nerfs they received the beginning of the expansion right

Using a gcd to heal, using Holy Power to heal, naturally lowers dps.
Looking at your little chart though, I do notice a particular pure dps class with all 3 specs in the bottom half. Perhaps we should discuss buffs not nerfs.
Ret doesn’t need further nerfs. For once in like the last 4 expansions ret is finally twords the top. I dont understand you ppl. UHDK was amazing in SL s1 all teir but no one complained. Same for multiple other specs, but soon as ret finally does good ppl complain. Its crazy.
You have 3 warlock specs and 2 rogue ones on that list ahead of like 80% of ppl. Maybe they should be getting a nerf? Or maybe, just maybe buff the underperformers?
