They’re trying to make a new Undead allied race, but why do they have to choose the combination that makes the least amount of sense? Why not choose like Void Forged Forsaken or Fel Forged Forsaken, you know like something that could at least make a little bit of sense

Killing Calia won’t stop Blizzard from telling the story they want to tell, though. It will just mean that instead of a Lore character, some rando gets turned into a Lightforged Undead like they originally planned.
Lightforged undead are still stupid, and I hope Blizzard doesn’t actually plan on that - but Calia, specifically, is stupider. Some rando would be better.
I feel like people would be just as upset if the leader of the new allied lightforged forsaken race was Bob Randomguy, who got lightforged because reasons.
How she uncaring? She literally died to the see her former people now in undeath get to have some joy and see loved ones evenly briefly. She knows through her relationship with Alonsus that the forsaken didn’t lose their humanity in undeath. Theyre still the same citizens of Lorederon.
Also from lore standpoint where are we going to get more forsaken? Its been made clear the forsaken are going to dwindle down to nothing. Now sylvanas would fix this by wiping out every human kingdom but why not start bring back people as forsaken light forged? No valkyr needed and people don’t have to be lightforned undead use whatever head cannon you want for that.
She cared so much about the Forsaken she disappeared for what…20…30 years?

I guess I can’t speak for everybody, but while I’d be upset about that, I’d be definitely less upset than I would be about Calia. Calia is like insult to injury for the Forsaken.
I mean she did see her brother kill her father in cold blood and literally wipe the kingdom out enslaving its people until they broke free. Not to mention she would of been kill target number 1 for sylvanas if she just popped up like sup.
Boo hoo, the Forsaken went through worse.

Its your duty to lead your people. Not just when its easy, and everyone bows and scrapes to your every mood. Its your job to do it through the good and bad.
Calia had no issue being royalty when it was easy. The moment when it got hard, and she had to pay up? She disappeared and left her people that she cared so much about on their own.

Lol what. You think she was going to hold council over masses and masses of undead ravaging lorderon. There literally wasnt a kingdom to be rule.
So say she goes to stormwind immediately and says I survived I want to continue the line of Lorederon. What lorderon. What would the other human kingdoms do? Heres a plot of land well call it new lorderon.
Or how about as soon as the forsaken gain their new found will with slyvanas she just strolls in “hey im the sister of the guy who murdered you all but im royal blood so listen to me”
Im not saying that all the current forsaken would follow her. I can only imagine a small faction that would. Would that equate into a playable race for either side. Who knows.
So why did she try to insert herself back into the Forsaken now?

Why didn’t she do it 15 years ago?

I can’t argue with that. I don’t know when Alonsus discovered her. Before the storm doesn’t cover that in depth. We know she had rebelled and went off and married someone against Terenas will around the time Lorderon fell. I mean what would you do?
The rest of the people of Lordaeron didn’t get to run away. She could have faced the same fate as all of them, but she was better than that because she was royalty I guess.
Can’t really blame her for saving her own skin, but she doesn’t have any right to come back now and act like she’s part of things.
