Retail Players' thoughts on Classic Wrath

You’re trying to make it out like, I install the addon, hit the button and get into a group. Total BS. If there aren’t any tanks around you are still going to wait forever.

Psst. RDF doesn’t make tanks appear out of thin air.

If you queue as a DPS during dead hours, you’ll have a long queue.

I’m starting to think you didn’t play in wrath. Nothing you’re saying about RDF is anywhere near the way it was. You’re clearly making things up.

Says the person who thinks all the GYs are next to the dungeon doors…

Take the rose tinted lenses off. They’re clouding your vision.

It’s one of the things that makes WoW “The” MMO still. I only play retail because I like mythic raid and m+ but the smoothness of the gameplay is unparalleled. Abilities feel good to press, make dopamine go woosh whether you’re hitting a combat dummy or a mythic raid boss.

Says the guy who can’t complete groups because his group wipes and can’t find their way back to the door.

LoL. You a joke.

Rofl now you’re just projecting at this point.

It doesn’t, but Wrath doesn’t have that much of a tank issue, considering Heroic Dungeons are a joke, Dual Spec exists and DKs exist. On popular PServers a DPS waits like, 2-10 minutes usually. Hell, you’re usually waiting on a healer.

These. Not RDF, will help groups 10x more.

It will also help that everyone and their grandma will level a DK. Great time to level a healing class too!

Actually, that is exactly what LFD does, you queue up, and in time a tank will magically show up in a group.

Better than nothing at all.

Here’s an example to illustrate.

Low Level BGs. they’re currently dead at the moment; but, thanks to the X-realm queue feature, low level BGs have the potential to come alive at given moments when enough players decide to queue.

And the raids. The first, and most important, step in fixing WoW Classic is to retune the difficulty of WotLK raids such that optimally 12-15%, maaaaaybe 20%, are capable of achieving consistent (or any) success in the top tiers of raids.

Too many mid-tier players trotting around in top end gear and thinking they special. Probably like the potato I have quoted here. And in fairness, that percentage of successful raiders I mentioned would certainly not include me. Which is fine because unlike clownshoes here, my self-worth isn’t tied to my WoW avatar. I just want faster groups.

Same thing with BB.

Not really. Wait 3 hours to get a queue for a dungeon you don’t complete? That sounds engaging to you?

My god if they don’t give us pre nerfed Ulduar. I might actually quit. Why play a game that easy.

If you also look at how engaged players are for SWP right now, it’s amazing. Slightly difficult content can keep players interested for a long long time.

They already confirmed no pre-nerf.

Right now. They back track on a lot of things. That’s one I think they may have jumped the gun on.

Pretty sure players have loved the pre nerf and post nerfed instances in TBC. If anything, players were upset at the nerfs coming too fast before they could overcome the trials.

Are you the creator of that addon and are here promoting it? I swear you mention it every 4th post like it’s the greatest tool ever. It isn’t.

Didn’t say it was. But it works if you’re capable.

Capability has nothing to do with it. It works if there are enough tank and healers around.

Same thing with RDF.

Not even close. I think you’ve been schooled as to why you’re wrong about that a dozen times in the last hour, but you’re still puking that line out.

You are very dense indeed.
