Ya, you don’t spawn by the door. You’re remembering incorrectly.
I know this is a common misconception: Let me clarify.
95% of Wotlk PServer players are the worst players you will ever meet in your WoW career. Most of them aren’t NA, a lot aren’t even EU, it’s a lot of people from countries a bit newer to gaming with way worse equipment, and a lot of them playing in net cafes.
Vanilla PServer players were the sweaty ones. Not Wrath. Wrath PServers are full of the most extreme casuals. Blackrock Arena Players are one exception, Lorderon the other exception.
Have you played on any mega server lately? There are more non English speaking players in pugs anymore.
I’m not sure what you mean, here.
I’d suggest checking out W*rmane, though. Classic players are excessively more hardcore than anyone you’ll find on these servers. To be “Hardcore” on them usually means “Clearing modern content”. I wish that were a joke.
Most the players I play with now are just like the demographic for the private servers you mentioned. Nothing wrong with it, but they aren’t always top tiered players.
The groups and types of players are just exaggerated due to how many more players are on Blizzard versus a private server at the moment.
Yes, you are offensive. Glad we on the same page. Need dungeon finder? I don’t know…maybe. I do know that I’m not gonna stand around Dalaran for hours LFG like I been standing around Shatt…especially knowing that I wouldn’t have to if idiot Blizz would release the game they advertised. I know that much. You think you’re cute but you’ll be cute and lonely when the bored people start leaving.
I mean like, players will be in the wrong talents/gear, no gems, no enchants, don’t remotely do their rotation, keyboard turn, don’t know any fights, and for some reason speak in all caps and curse at eachother endlessly. It’s actually kind of comical, part of the charm of the server.
But like, yeah. That’s the kind of player I’m talking about and they still destroy the Heroic Dungeons, nobody is going to be wiping in those.
RDF isn’t instant. You still have a queue.
Haha I agree to some extent.
WotLK made the dungeons too easy imo. Hence why I think RDF is just doubling down on casual catering at that point.
Can’t wait until rdf is added
Yeah I’m pretty certain it’ll get added. Wouldn’t be surprised to see it at launch, as the WoW Community Council gave their feedback on Classic and it was overwhelmingly just a discussion about bringing RDF back.
Question is RDF now or later
Nobody to my knowledge has ever said that it was instant. Why keep saying that?
The beta will be the real key to seeing how Blizzard plans to act. Lets just hope they open it to the player base, and not just streamers.
Because people say they can’t look for groups and do other things currently. As if something is preventing them from doing so.
You don’t have to be in Dalaran to find a group w/o RDF. That’s absurd to think.
Yeah… The unfortunate reality of modern beta testing. Just advertising for “Influencers”.
I am also curious to see how people feel about the no RDF early on.
I think it’s more so free advertising for Blizzard via influencers. All they have to pay them is a beta key, and it’s still to paying customers.
Who said anything about instant?
It’s pretty annoying to do anything demanding when you’re constantly hitting your LFG or LFM macro.
I said it still has a queue.
This is unnecessary.
There’s zero reason why you’re standing around in Shatt, RDF won’t solve that choice.
Ya, that’s not the smartest thing to do.
I open my bulletin, post one ever 2 mins, and get a group. You don’t have to spam 100x to get listed on the bulletin, once is plenty.
Now that’s BS. That craptacular BB addon isn’t nearly as convenient as you’re making it out to be unless you are a tank.
How is that BS?
If I type, just once, “LFM Ramps, need heals” it will stay posted on BB for 2mins.
I don’t have to spam it. That’s unnecessary.
