I agree. Alliance are the stronger faction. More people played alliance in 2004. More people played Alliance on Northdale, the last large private server before it shut down to make way for Classic WoW.
The top players rolled ally on private and still play alliance to this day.
. . . . . Nemestrïnus
no one cares about what happened on a private server. this is a legit server, and not someone stealing another’s IP and passing it off as their own.
everyone told you all that horde were going to be the dominant faction and they were right
Lol what? This is such a bad argument, it’s not even worth a valid response.
No one cares about what happened on … the server that lead to the classic wow we now play on…
You didn’t know. You still choose to play horde. So regardless of knowing or not knowing you now have to deal with the consequences of choosing to play horde. If you no longer wish to play horde you can reroll alliance.
…
…
What? You still want to play horde? Fine Transfer or reroll on an alliance dominated server. Won’t change your BG queue times because Horde it still dominate in the battle group.
What is relevant is that classic has and will continue to have an imbalance in faction population favoring the Horde. There is nothing short of a majority of horde players turning traitor and joining the Alliance that is going to change that.
How am I living in denial? I am not the one who is saying a completely different community population should reflect on an entirely separate community.
You didn’t do the research that is on you. I didn’t do mine either, but I’ve always been alliance which is why I rolled alliance. Even having quit and come back for classic did not change that. Stop trying to blame someone other than yourself. Do I blame my friends for dragging me to a pvp realm and abandoning me here when they quit? Nope I blame myself for allowing them to talk me into rolling on a pvp realm despite knowing I hate world pvp.
I also played on classic launch… what exactly is your point. My argument hinges on nothing. If you want it to hinge on something… my argument hinges on the fact that if you did an ounce of research you would know that the WoW player base has over time trended towards the Horde. Even despite not doing that research… and what my actual argument hinges on…
You choose to play, what you choose to play. Either continue to play it, quit, or choose to reroll and do something else. Absolute no one is going to change for you to make it a better experience for you, and nor should they be forced to make that move.
The choice is yours, as it always has been, as it always will be. If BG queue times are so heavily important to you. Make the choice to reroll to the minority faction of this population of players. If you refuse to do that. Well, you have made your choice, and that choice was that BG queue was not actually that important for you.
Then it isn’t that important to you. Simple as that. You wish to call my response trolling because you don’t want to accept it or do not wish to address it cool, but here are the simple facts.
The reason the Horde trend started amongst the WoW player base is that faction transfers and race change were put into the game. This allowed the top percent of the player base to way racial against each other because they would not be losing time and resources they put into the game by starting a new character. At the time the horde racial had more advantages so that is where they went. The most prominent of these were the goblins rocket jump.
Due to the top percentage of players shifting towards the horde. Guess who followed? The bandwagoners and high-level players under them. This made it so there were fewer opportunities for alliance than there were for horde. This made it so that any new player joining up would more likely roll a horde character over the alliance. Especially if they choose to do any research or had a friend that already plays that game that could tell them anything about it.
The result of that was longer queue times for the more dominate factions. This is reflected in the holy trinity where more then 60% of players choose to be DPS. Resulting in a healer and tank shortage.
People who came back to classic still have that horde bias. Even if it isn’t entirely needed/warranted anymore in retail or in classic.
You made the choice to stay Horde in TBC just as you made the choice to rolll Horde in classic. Nothing is stopping you from switching but yourself.
But the point is that the balance has snowballed over time leading to the queue issues.
I rerolled horde for tbc, bigger faction = more pve groups same as the reason the majority of retail is horde, I dont care about bg queue times. Arena I can group vs anyone. Probably most of the other horde players are the same we dont care about bgs we just want lots of pug groups.
You wish to play that card fine. You didn’t know. You still choose to play horde. So regardless of knowing or not knowing you now have to deal with the consequences of choosing to play horde. If you no longer wish to play horde you can reroll alliance.
There is no card being played. If the truth doesn’t fit your standard, learn to deal with it, rather than coping by claiming others are lying and playing a card.
We’ve been over this, and you’re straight up, or effectively trolling by telling me to reroll alliance.
This notion of consequences is a bad argument.
What is relevant is that classic has and will continue to have an imbalance in faction population favoring the Horde. There is nothing short of a majority of horde players turning traitor and joining the Alliance that is going to change that.
This is diversion attempt from my topic.
How am I living in denial? I am not the one who is saying a completely different community population should reflect on an entirely separate community.

Because instead of dealing with the reality of the situation, you’ve chosen to accuse me of lying by playing a card, and simulatenously lying because you don’t like the facts I’ve presented.
In response to my thread not being an echo-chamber of your thoughts, and my opinion being multi-faceted instead of simple, you’ve actively chosen to fight me with lies and trolling attempts. The majority of what you are saying is outright false, as evidenced by our prior conversations, and thus you are living in denial (not me, as you claim).
I also played on classic launch… what exactly is your point. My argument hinges on nothing. If you want it to hinge on something… my argument hinges on the fact that if you did an ounce of research you would know that the WoW player base has over time trended towards the Horde. Okay well, if you did then your previous argument doesn’t make any sense.
You made the choice to stay Horde in TBC just as you made the choice to rolll Horde in classic. Nothing is stopping you from switching but yourself.
I’m surprised a forum mod hasn’t banned you by this point for outright lying and continuous trolling/bait attempts. Banned you not for disagreeing, but it’s pretty clear as day, at this point, that you’re sticking around to bait, troll, and instigate. Bannable behavior if you ask me.
Like you aren’t funny. No one thinks you’re funny. And 99% of your responses to me are outright lies or delusions, and at the same time you are telling me that I’m the one lying and delusional.
I see you replying to me right now, and it’s just sad honestly. More lies to come? Very sad.
At this point, we aren’t even having a valid conversation anymore, it’s just you trolling and lying. There’s no point in continuing to discuss with you, regardless of what you say further.
I will not be replying to you in the future here or on any post, as it’s blatantly obvious what you are doing, and incredibly unfunny, and quite frankly a waste of my time. At least the other people who disagreed didn’t stoop to this level of immaturity and inception.
I am trolling by telling you the only solution to your problem?
Your issue is faction imbalance. Literally the only solutions to that is for the factions to be balanced. The only way for that to happen if for HORDE TO GO ALLIANCE.
Regardless of if you do or not you have to deal with the consequence of the choice you decide to make. If you and other choose to roll alliance the consequence of that action is losing your progress but getting better queue times. If you and other choose not to you get to keep your progress and the faction imbalance in never fixed.
Simple fact is. You and everyone that plays this game has a choice to make, and they have to live with the consequences of that choice or quit the game. There is no reality in where you don’t have to deal with some consequence. Even if Blizzard brought out the faction change right now in some attempt to fix the balance. You have to deal with the consequences of that system now being in place.
and this is attempt to dodge the point you don’t want to address but I will play your game.
Your topic is “Retail-Classic Players are clueless on PvP Consequences”
The thing is they weren’t. You were and you have admitted to it. They knew that faction imbalance would happen. They knew the consequences of it because they have been living it for the past 11 years.
They, like me, are telling you to deal with the choice that you have made. In this choose to play a horde race. They understand, but for some reason, you choose not to. For some reason, you keep denying reality in some attempt to leave past glory days of a private server that Blizzard killed off.
I am dealing with the reality of the situation. That situation is that Horde is the dominate faction and due to that fact they have longer queue time because there isn’t enough alliance on the opposite side to make it shorter.
If there is some other situation. Please feel free to put it in words I can read instead of “You aren’t dealing with reality”.
In response, I was showing that it isn’t only “Retail-Classic” players that will give you the same argument you think that only they would give thus disproving your point.
Your opinion boils down to “It wasn’t this way on private servers it shouldn’t be that way here”, but it is. That is the entire point.
I’ve spoken no lies and I have told only true that you call lies because you do not like them.
I can back everything I said up if you wish since you do not wish to do any research. In fact…
Currently, the balance of all TBCC realms is 40% Alliance to 60% Horde. Hey would you look at that… the faction imbalance is realm thus horde will see longer queue times than alliance. How do we fix this… 10% of HORDE REROLLING ALLIANCE.
Honestly, you don’t even have the worse. The Russian realms do.
This was easy data that was taken from Ironforge.pro if you wish to bring something forth that shows I have lied in anything please do, but I suppose you won’t and will ignore the evidence in front of your eyes and simply claim I am in denial.
Makes perfect sense. You just don’t want it to.
You rolled Horde, You choose to stay Horde. Now deal with playing as Horde. If you don’t want to deal with playing as Horde reroll Alliance. It is simple. It isn’t complicated at all.
You are Horde. Yes.
You still choose to play Horde. Yes.
Then deal with the issue of playing Horde.
Do you really think me telling you to either deal with player horde, play alliance, or quit is trolling? Because it isn’t. It is legitimately the only option you or any other player have. Horde or Alliance.
Not attempting to be funny. I am simply stating facts that I have no given you some evidence for. If you wish to deny that evidence be my guess that is your choice to cover your eyes and go “lalalalala I can’t see it”. As for lying, I haven’t nor will I fall for the thing you are accusing me of.
If you will like me to provide you with more evidence all you need to ask “Give me evidence of X claim” and I gladly will. If you don’t do it in that exact form I won’t as you will simply ignore it or claim I am attempting to derail or something.
Yes, I’ve got nothing else to do but to talk to a player who wishes to ignore every point I’ve made and continue on anyway as I mindlessly heal away in dungeon to level on my other screen. Quite sad.
No, we are. Granted you are attempting to dance around and deflect every point that proves you are wrong and failing spectacularly at it.
Yep, I am blatantly proving you wrong. Bet you weren’t expecting someone to do the leg work when they call you on your bull.
As for stepping to this level of immaturity and inception. If you mean replying like one would in a discussion I guess your right. This forum is no place for that. Never has been, never will be.
Who cares about streamers? Honestly? In the end, they really don’t matter. Just play the game. Besides, watching somebody play WoW is certainly not nearly as fun as playing the game yourself. Same goes for pretty much any MMORPG, especially slower-paced ones like Classic.
Most have quite a few changes that they are up front about; most of the players there don’t seem to pay much attention and so don’t know any better.
As for the TBC horde population; it’s nit like they couldn’t have just I don’t know, looked at classic wow and said “well horde whine about their Q’s from time to time so horde sounds like it’s overpopulated.
One faction being overpopulated kinda solves it self; and like all things in nature this is the answer to the overpopulated situation. Long long long waits for a meal that results in starvation.
Realm xfers exist so your just playing yourself if u stay in that situation. Its like half the alliance player base had a bad case of stockholm syndrome for all of classic vanilla
