Correct, those aspects were nerfed and some of it are no longer broken. Judgement dispels are fixed. Ret survivability is in a good state. Your damage during immunity is the only thing remaining. That’s the elephant in the room that everybody knows is the problem.
Okay so that I agree with. Grant bubble a damage penalty like it used to have.
Bop and bosw I don’t since they’re not blanket immunity. Like using bosw against a war lock team only helps by half.
That being said…
It’s rare that rets use bubble offensively, at least at higher rating. You’re taking a big risk doing that so you better be sure you’re gonna land a kill.
So that’s why I don’t think it’s that much of an issue, though I’m not against it
I know my class is balanced.
It’s over represented since it’s well balanced combined with the best warcraft lore and animation.
Don’t underestimate class fantasy when it comes to representation.
I am pretty sure rets at your 2300 RSS rating are not a problem for frost mage. Your skill issues are. But it is always easier to blame something else, than to admit you need to improve.
Should have told Gelu in 3100 lobby (after the first wave of nerfs, before jotp nerf), that his frost mage was weak.
The fact that I need to improve is not the reason 2 of every 3 rated 3’s game is a Ret comp…

The class fantasy is extremely popular.
All this plus the fact that they’re in a good place means that representation is going to go up.
Ret has always had a high representation across wow because so many people enjoy the fantasy of a crusader and knight in shining armor. But it’s lacked in high rating since balance was lacking.
Now that ret is formidable in pvp then it’s gonna reflect in representation with everything I mentioned playing into account.
Again, this game is more than zeros and ones my dude.
Ret/War was a Tier 1 comp in all of SL for 2 years and we didn’t have these problems then.
Just stop and use some empathy for a second. The entire community is expressing that Ret is ruining their arena experience given how OP they are currently and the only people defending the class are Rets.

Look at WW. They’ve been in good places since mop. I think they were top tier in BFA.
But they’re still some of the least represented classes since monk fantasy isnt as appealing to players as compared to paladin.
- You don’t play 3s.
- Your highest is 2300 RSS as frost mage.
- I have seen lobbies myself at 2800-3100 where decent demo locks, frost mages went 6-0 vs tripple/double ret on first week of rework. Now it is a cakewalk for them in comparision.
He also thinks DKs don’t have a gap closer which is why ret range should be lowered back to 10 yds
I am complaining about the oppressiveness of the class and the damage it is doing to the meta.

Yes. Disc got some massive nerfs at the same time monk and rsham got buffs. Rsham got nerfed, monk didnt get practical nerfs.
