the mental gymnastics are incredible
specs without an MS are inherently going to be chosen less
you build a comp around an arms war/ww/assa rogue/dh, you should never build a comp around a support dps
if you can, its because the design and tuning are outrageous

One exampleā¦ every hunter stream who mains MM is playing BM, and when you ask why, it is because it is the only thing you can play into Retāsā¦ and this is just one example. It is making the entire game toxic.

Ret/war was godly broken to lower tiered players in sl yes. Once you broke a certain rating that all changed. Shadowlands was the expac of fire mages. If you think ret is anything beyond good (meaning you think its op) you need to play against them differently your obviously doing something wrong.

High rating players agree that Rets still too inflated. The argument of class balance has always only mattered based on 3 sources, Tournament spec participation, R1 opinions, and class distribution at the top of the ladder. All 3 areas we look at currently suggest Ret is still too strong. Get your head out of your rear end.
Again, this season is completely toasted after the initial ret debacle.
If the case is still in the same level in season 2 after all these nerfs and people becoming acclimated to a decent ret instead of a pushover, then Iāll concede.
But again, why not advocate to bring up underperforming specs?
Itās always, nerf this nerf that. Just buff everyone who needs it.
Imagine if athletes complained they were underperforming because their rivals spend more time in the gym than them
You could be correct far as after the upcoming patch. The crit reduction combined with the number of classes getting damage offsets could make a difference. So long as Blizzard keeps to NOT compensating Ret damage which as of right now, they arenāt doing. But right now, make no mistake about it, Rets still too strong.
There is an asterisks around their gap closer and you know it.
But that is still not as ridiculous as suggesting Ret is harder to play than mage.
All Iām gonna say it is clear the entire community is expressing that the class is oppressive to the meta and it is ruing their arena experience. They are forced to play specs they donāt even enjoy to counter it. Donāt gas light the entire communities experience just because it is fun to be OP.
Only damage compensation is hammer of wrath because of the crit change.
