Nope, I’ve dealt with mac and Linux users.
I…
I can’t even argue with that. Good day.
OP someone’s people have stupid visions and we have to correct them
Like we’ve had to do with every system they put in the game
Blizzard will end up doing exactly what we are complaining about
Their vision is stupid on every level.
Why would you pay for it then? Serious question.
Just because you give feedback doesn’t mean that it will be implemented into the game. It’s amazing to me that people don’t understand the term “listen”. lol
There’s no winning regardless of what they do. Keep it locked, don’t be best for every scenario. Unlock it, forced into a specific build for every scenario.
Oh they listen, they just don’t hear. Common problem these days sadly.
It’s wild to me that so many people will complain about how bad the game is day after day, month after month, patch after patch, year after year, expansion after expansion and they refuse to leave and find something they actually enjoy doing with their free time. This is the only game community I have seen where it’s trendy to pretend to hate the game and company that you give your time, energy, and money to.
So you have to like everything about a game to play it? You can’t criticize anything at all and still enjoy aspects of it? Serious question.
You must not play many games then.
Oh they listen, they just don’t hear . Common problem these days sadly.
people think “listen” means to implement their ideas into the game.
Just because you give feedback doesn’t mean that it will be implemented into the game
They’ve spent 3 expansions adding in the feedback they got before launch but ignored. Do it at the beginning instead of dropping numbers continually and putting Band-Aids on over 2 years.
It’s not stupid enough to make me not want to see it
I’ll still get to enjoy it
But I could enjoy it more and I don’t want another reason to burn me out and quit before the first content patch comes in for the 3rd xpac in a row
When they ask feedback, give it as humbly as they receive it, and accept that they have the final word on THEIR craft.
“m-m-mr blizzard, your expansion is pretty good b-but I’d love if you could change this thing about it. y-you don’t have to if you don’t want to though mr b-blizzard, I w-won’t unsub.”
Nah, sometimes they need a bit of pressure. Or nothing will get done.
So you have to like everything about a game to play it? You can’t criticize anything at all and still enjoy aspects of it? Serious question.
You said it was stupid on every level. Which level isn’t stupid that keeps you paying them?
Don’t kid yourself that the WoW developers are the ones fully in control of the game’s design. There are a lot of things outside of the developers’ “vision” that come into play.
Also, if the players don’t play, the game doesn’t exist. The game exists, and can only exist, at the point where the software application that the developers have put together is played by the players. If the players aren’t there, it’s just a useless piece of code.
Liking a game and knowing how successful it used to be under an older model tends to keep passionate players around.
If they truly didn’t care, they would be gone.
My only issue with the whole Covenant thing is I worry it will turn out exactly like Azerite and the Artifacts where Blizzard go in and make the change anyway, but it’s already too late. I’m not saying that’s the case here, but after the catastrophe that was Azerite and Essences, I can’t help but be skeptical that they’re digging their feet in yet again one something that is currently almost universally panned.
Still, they can make what they want. It just might result in even worse player retention than before. I’m here until the whole ship sinks; I won’t be quitting anytime soon. But I can understand concerns and complaints especially after BfA’s train wreck.
I enjoy raiding and M+ with friends and family. Pretty simple. The direction they are going with covenants is stupid on every single level and it will be changed within a patch or two. It will be interesting to see MDI teams switching out entire teams of characters for each dungeon because they have to have different covenants to do them competitively.
