I told you how I made gold. There are several ways to make gold in TBC including tradeskilling, selling services, selling raid loot. Selling raw materials.

People will make gold in many different ways. Whats your point?

Lol see this is why I want you to answer the question. You are intentionally dancing around the reality of what’s happening.

How do you think… the majority of players made their gold.

Do you have a point?

Do you want to start being honest? I’m not going to waste my discussing the reality of what will happen when people like you are going to bury their heads and act like it’s not real.

Do you think possibly dailies happen to be the main source of income for everyone?

Is that your point? Dailies? Because no. I think a majority of their people will make the the majority gold selling consumables and trade skill goods. Or selling services.

I’m not flushing my legitimately earned work just because of what OTHER people have done, nor because you asked for it. Our work is ours to keep, not yours to take away. This is something people asking for wipes don’t seem to comprehend. This is capitalism, not socialism. Big daddy Blizzard is not going to barge into your bank like the soviet union and say, “We’re taking all your gold. It belongs to the people. Now go wait in a food line like the unemployed.”

Yes cheaters have run rampant over the game, but that’s not our fault. I advocated FROM THE START that they be kept under control, even getting censors off the forum for my complaints. That ship sailed. Even if we start over, all that would do is reset the clock. You think they won’t come cheat in BC too? 6 months into BC, you’ll be in exactly the same place, whether we start over or not. The cheaters are going to come right back and do everything they were doing, just as before, one way or the other.

Again, this is capitalism, not socialism. Robbing people of their work is horrendous to the economy. The incentive to actually be productive and work is lost when it’s being robbed from you. If you’re also advocating that it be redistributed to the poor… that’s even worse. There’s no incentive to work when you can freeload off the backs of other people.

Well if we are being dishonest or if you’re actually that dumb to think the majority of players all have max prof just running around selling this stuff then there’s no reason to have a real discussion with you now is there?

You understand the thing about professions that makes it so profitable is that not a lot of people actually use them right? If everyone had max professions and sold those goods, then no one would be able to sell anything, and there would be no one buying.

The majority of players farm their gold through dailies and buy the things they need from the AH. That’s literally why they made dailies in the first place ffs.

And here you go again. You state your opinion and call people dumb who don’t agree with your asserted opinion.

That is dishonest.

I’m being completely honest, you state the majority of players get their gold from professions dude.

Where does the inflation come from then? If everyone is just exchanging gold back and forth how come inflation happens?

You’re suggesting housing as a gold sink and Garrisons were just the opposite. They showered the player with so much gold average players didn’t know what to do with it. I never even tried to make a lot of gold but so much just accumulated I ended up selling it for 10 months of game time. I could easily use my garrison to never pay to play again but it wasn’t fun so I just paid the sub fee.

You didn’t ask how gold was being generated, you were asking how players were making gold. I believe a majority of players will make their gold trade-skilling and selling services.

TBH they should just wipe everyone characters and relaunch without layering. get it right this time blizz ffs

Yes and if a majority of players are just making their money from professions then how come inflation happens.

The short answer is the minority of players make money off professions, sure maybe hardcore players make money off professions, but casuals our number hardcore players 100 to 1 and casuals live for things like dailies.

And that’s what I’m asking you now, if most people just make money off professions the gold generation should be really manageable right? With all the ah transactions and respec costs and such the gold sink should be good.

Inflation happens when people are making a ton of raw gold, via dailies, but if you can’t see this then you are actually too dumb to talk to.

You have an opinion that the majority of players will make their money through dailies. That is an assertion not backed up by anything. The truth is no one knows how the majority of players will make their money in the future of TBC classic, and stating anything other than an opinion is dishonest.

“I have an opinion, and anyone who disagrees with me is dumb”

It’s backed up by inflation you idiot LOL
