People act like Valor Upgrading and Mythic Plus outgearing Heroic Raids has been around since Vanilla. And it can not be altered, or it would be blasphemy upon the Creation of time and space.
These are very recent changes. M+ itself only came out in Legion, and it has changed very much since then.
Valor is a new gimmick, and it should be altered to remove the rating. That is a good idea and I see no down side. Lower end people would take ages to max out, but they still could, and it gives every play style something to work for.

Maybe you should put it down then.

why not just have random world mobs drop mythic raid loot? Goldfarming bots need mythic raid loot too.

It’s almost like people thing giving the casuals the ability to chase and obtain the good gear in the current system is a bad thing.

I would say it is incentive to master your character/dungeons and improve as a player.
If you count all the +2’s for valor I’ve probably ran 100 or so keys this season. I’ve seen zero instances of toxicity the. entire. season. Why don’t you people just admit you don’t want to do harder content instead of perpetuate some ridiculous rumor that anyone with a halfway decent IO score is toxic? Lol
People don’t communicate and think success is a given right, so when someone leaves(cause who cares about untimed keys) their time is wasted and think people are toxic.

I’d argue that it’s this kind of mentality that burns people out.
it’s called communicate with your group.
It’s really not though? Those casuals are literally the reason why the lights stay on and that’s a good thing unless you deliberately want the game to fail. A ‘good’ player will inevitably outperform a ‘bad’ player outside of an x ilvl gap (x varies based on the skill difference).
If you are using gear itself as your measuring stick for how much better you are vs someone else then you really should reevaluate your life choices

It’s also called being toxic.
WOW caters to a diverse set of people. Cause we have roleplayers and some end game items /mounts look cool, they should all be extremely easy to get, sound good?
Sure?
Them having a path to get it that requires dedication of a different manner (time instead of skill) is perfectly fine. The gear treadmill will always allow those who are doing the harder content get better gear faster and be able to leverage said position better.
Me having a digital copy of something and enjoying it has nothing to do with someone else having a digital copy of the same pixels and enjoying it as well.

Because PVP is a contest of player skill versus player skill, so it’s unfair if one guy has 110k health, and another has 78k.
PVE is people competing against NPCs, no one is affected by gear progression in this content.
I’m saying remove the dedication part. Just let them have it. And cause I hate leveling too, just let me create level 60s. Cause I hate grinding as well, they should all be 80 renown Don’t got time to legendary powers, give me that too.
Wow is an MMO and time invested should be recognized and rewarded. Full stop.
If you want to gear quickly and efficiently, then run higher keys.
I hate when players try to gatekeep gear from others and make insipid/elitist remarks like, “you don’t need/deserve good gear.”
All anyone wants is a path toward improvement. If you’re a key pusher/mythic raider, that path is very straightforward and direct.
If you’re a casual, that path is long and meandering. (Often times, it stops at a dead-end)
At the end of the day, what does it matter if some WQ hero is decked out in 304 gear? It took him 20x longer to get there than it took you. You unsubbed the moment you maxed out because you lost incentive to play. He stayed subbed the entire time, having fun and interacting with the game.

So you’re making the mail me the Mythic Raider gear argument because you can’t fathom a WoW where systems other than M+ or Raids exists to give players outside of that content satisfying, long-term sustainable rewards that doesn’t funnel them back into M+ or Raiding?

People are receiving appropriate rewards for the content they choose to tackle. The same reason why you can’t get epics just killing boars.
