Requiring "score" to use valor upgrades = poor system

There’s PVP too, and m+ and raids. It’s your argument that people should just get gear by doing repetitive crap.

Cause I hate repetition, why not just give them everything?

Hell, get rid of armor types, and just have one character that can switch between multiple classes. Kinda like FFXIV I guess so it is a working model.

You’re doing that already through M+ and Raids, why not world content or anything else?

Hates repetition.

Runs the same eight dungeons over and over.

World content can’t be challenging, and if you have gear rewards behind mage tower and torghast, why not?

You’ve missed the point.

Making the game all about the challenge isn’t a sustainable or fun playing experience.

Works for some people but not everyone. That’s what you and Ion fail to understand.

I actually try not to.

Usually tend to run things until I succeed once.

Without challenge, there is no game.

My druid is over 1k score and has run nothing higher than a 5 this season. It would take me ages to get her geared up solely through grinding these keys to (1) get gear I can upgrade and (2) get valor enough to boost each piece to 285.

If that’s not an avenue of progression, what is? You guys can literally do this right now, and progress higher than LFR would give you right? So … wish already granted?

Without players there’s no game.

You can’t pick one over the other.

it’s not picking one or the other. It’s giving each group of players their stuff, so people who like Pokemon can play the same game as people who hardcore raid along with people that just want to sleep in Goldshire.

Which is more money for blizzard

Well according to you it’s the challenge or nothing so…you’ve made your stance and Ions pretty clear and we won’t have to wonder why it’ll fall flat in the long term.

WOW isn’t falling flat lol. It’s the second(or the most) popular MMO in the world.

I really can’t wrap my head around this.

What does it matter to you, how a complete stranger interacts with the game?

They’re not getting KSM or killing the Jailor so therefore they’re not playing the game?

Absurd.

Life is 1000x better when you stop minding other people’s business and focus on your own.

I’d gladly upgrade a +2 BiS item, rather than farm the same dungeon 40 times for that same item.

If any decent mmorpg crop up (like Riots one) WoW is done.

WoW only thrives because it’s all there is on the market.

I don’t care how they play the game, just saying WOW caters to very diverse people. And giving people outright access of rewards from one area to another, doesn’t really work well.

Like having Gladiator without touching PVP or the pet battle content without participating in any of it.

Why aren’t you minding yours then? Lol

Totally agree.

Once a more casual friendly game comes along with smooth combat (comparable to WoW’s) and content to push, Blizzard’s goose is cooked.

I thought that was FFXIV?
