Is the ban still in effect? answered as yes or no can tell you if this is working the way they want it to or not.
What you are giving though isn’t feedback, its vitriol. You also refuse to consider that the feedback could likely be overwhelmingly positive in favor of keeping the ban.
This game is not “theirs” it is the community’s and it is not thier job to dictate how we should olay. It is thier job to listen to feedback. In this case, they have wildly overstepped and then gone radio silent. It is breathtakingly cringe.
Obviously not, otherwise GDKP wouldn’t take over in every version of classic wow
The level of entitlement in the GDKP community is insane.

Ask any game dev and they will agree. In fact, even these game devs agree. The dogma you guys have for them is weird.
I will accept your concession in this case then since you have nothing further to add.
I responded to you, but okay mate
With an empty statement and a lowkey insult. You have no rebuttal except “nuh uh”. Which isn’t a rebuttal or anything of value.
You do know that’s usually PR-speak, right? Obviously good game devs will take in feedback from their community, but there comes times when even they need to make (potentially) unpopular decisions.
And why do you think the community is in favor of GDKPs when most people coming to these threads are more often than not against it?
It’s entitlement that you think your opinion matters more than others. I’m sorry, but you’re a man-child.

But Pepsi, the customer is always right!
Now, is there a manager I can speak to?
bergy, i thought we already had told you that you are not allowed to cheat in the game bergy. we know that you and your friends have been cheating when you play gdkp. cheating is wrong bergy. gdkps are banned bc you and your friends were cheating in them. go back to your room bergy. if you can not keep from cheating when you play gdkp, you wont be allowed to play the game with the other kids.

You might want to understand what copyright is there bud and how TOS works. You can offer your feedback, but that doesn’t mean they have to accept it or agree with you. Again, you have 612 posts (with mine here) and the overwhelming majority is telling you that they do not want GDKP. Of the 6-8 people defending, advocating, or expressing their “I don’t care if it’s in the game, but it should be” views, there are nearly quadruple the people telling you they disagree.
The community has spoken and you need to accept it.

He loves making blanket statements with no source as facts, then when you rebut? Demands hard data that doesn’t exist.
He is entertaining, but not someone I would waste time engaging with.

So did yall get gdkp back for phase 3?
No idea, radio silence from devs, and P3 isn’t out yet.
Entitlement
I’ve been seeing this word thrown around lately from the Anti-GDKP crowd towards the GDKP crowd, so I’d like to address it in a manner that goes beyond using it to silence voices.
When the Anti-GDKP crowd forces others to make sacrifices for THEIR version of the greater good, THEIR version of how raids should be ran, and THEIR version of a social structure, while leaving absolutely no room for compromise, THAT is entitlement.
This is where someone usually brings up the RMT issue and its reduction as everyone’s version of the greater good, and sure we all know that GDKPs incentivize RMT. No one is arguing it’s not. But just how much?
If the GDKP ban reduced RMT by 10%, then that negligible amount is not my version of the greater good since we will see virtually no difference in the amount of RMT and bots that occur in the game, and there are far less damaging solutions that can reduce RMT more than this.
If the GDKP ban reduced RMT by 90%, that is definitely the greater good.
This is why we want a follow-up.
Imagine arguing about how you’re not the entitled one, but then saying how the devs have to tell you about how successful a policy change was in THEIR game.
Obviously if they’re keeping it in the game, then it was a success in their eyes.

If advocating for what you want in a game is entitlement? Then we are all pretty much entitled. Makes the word mean nothing.
However when its a DEMAND for something that was never offered or promised? That is when it becomes entitlement IMO.
Sadly, many of the loudest people cant tell the difference between the two.

Many can’t tell the difference between an official policy change and an experimental test.
I demand nothing of official policy changes.
I would like results for an experimental test that affected me.
Happy P3. Let’s forget about GDKP for a day and enjoy the game
