Reporting in AV Does Nothing

I report AFK players, nothing happens.
I report terrain exploiters, nothing happens.
I report players for cheating, nothing happens.
I report griefers at the entrance, nothing happens.
Do these reports go anywhere? Does any of this even matter?

Probably not.

Its just a button that has no purpose other than to make complainers think they make a difference.

Worst part is, when it does do something, it does more to hurt the poor sap that takes his place in a game where he missed most of the bonus honor than it hurts the botter that got kicked.

Unless…
You get a lock and a druid, on the botters realm, to send the bot a summon, to the bottom of the deep water.
Or 3 inches away from kazzak.

It does work. Just because you can’t see something happening, doesn’t mean nothing is being done. Stuff has to be investigated.

If you wanna get personal, this should fill that void:

or you summon them to a place full of civilians and have a non-ranking buddy drop them to zero RP

some former guildies of mine on a former server did hat to a dude, was hilarious, he went from r13 to r0 in an hour

You can thank all the Alliance premades who used the report features to get more of their buddies into AV.

This does nothing. We have sent numerous safe spotting druid tickets to blizzard. They just close the tickets. We still face that druid every day in WSG, there is no point.

There’s this…

K, didn’t say to make a ticket. If you clicked on that link, it tells you exactly how to submit a report. It says nothing about submitting a ticket. Because that’s not how you report someone in-game.

Edit: Typo

Don’t do this.
That’s what the alliance premades were doing to people who had legit solo queued and landed in the way of one of the premade members getting into the BG, and it entails spamming the person with a false game violation report, which is lying.

Read that thread.

Yeah, you didn’t read the thread…

Well, I opened a ticket to make a report about a select group of griefers. And I received an acknowledgement from a GM that they would look into it, so at least that’s something (whether they actually do or not, at least I know they heard me). However, they suggested I use the in-game reporting in the future… le sigh.

It’s pretty much just a system for groups of people to bully people with AFK reports/language reports lok

Im just saying, in case someone sees it and thinks it sounds like a good idea, don’t.

You know how people are sometimes.

You didn’t even read the linked thread…

As Orylia said, If you aren’t gonna participate in a BG, you don’t need to be there.
