Can’t remember where I read this, but imagine that the chat in World of Warcraft is kind of like a party. Everyone comes to the party and is respectful and cordial of one another. The loud/rude person is going to get ignored or tossed out.

I think most peoples concern is phrased a bit differently, this senario, maybe…

If you went to a restaurant, sat down and ate, and its a busy restaurant, people of all kinds and all sorts frequent it. And you crack a few jokes, some have swears, your friends laugh, and some a couple tables away, don’t like you. Maybe its the way you are dressed or how you sound, maybe they don’t like you because you both were at a store or at the post office and you felt like they didn’t treat you right, and wanna get even. Maybe it’s cause they don’t like how you eat your food and think you are crude and poorly utilizing the tableware. Whatever the reason, its petty, and personal, disguised as a legitimate complaint.

And so they complain to the manager, and get their friends to do so as well, and most people swear, and no one cares, most are mindful to not go too far, but the rules do say, no disruptions, so they gotta ask you to leave, because even though most people in that restaurant don’t care, this one person and their friends, do.

The manager knows its bunk, they know you didn’t cause any issues, but they gotta do it, they gotta follow through, no matter what, else they could get in trouble.

managers are paid to make hard decisions. They decide things like that as a part of their job. They will decide if you and your friends are being disruptive. are being rude to the staff. are actually ordering food and eating it or just sitting there nursing their drinks. If they tell you to leave, you must leave. period. If you refuse, the police will be called. if you refuse them, they will arrest you. You will face a judge. have fun with that.

Grow thicker skin. Adults swear, ALL the time. Literally nonstop. It’s quite literally how they talk with each other. If swearing upsets people to this extent, they need to take a step back, put down the coloring books and safety blankets, open up the window shades and take a look outside… because they need to realize the world is bigger than they are.

Sorry but no. Farting is part of a bodily function, and it’s not abnormal. I already feel bad enough for uncontrollable farts while pregnant. It’s just one of the symptoms of being pregnant. My baby just loves giving me gas.
