I just made a report on a player with a literal obvious racial slur for their name and got a message saying the report system is unavailable. From what I gather looking around here, seems it’s been down for a while now. Any idea when it will be back up?

Don’t think anyone here would have a clear answer on when.
May I suggest, adding the character as a friend (this won’t send a request or anything, but can help you keep the person on a list until you can report), then when able to report again, report the character with the inappropriate name.

This really does need to get fixed. People are getting away with things and there’s no way to report them. I understand this is something the CS reps can’t do anything about, but maybe they could poke someone in the bug department that it should be a high priority fix (if it isn’t already). It’s literally impossible to report anyone right now, which means people can spam general chat with all kinds of nasty nonsense.

Yea just touching on this aswell, Stormrage trade chat was filled with some of the most vile and racist thing’s I’ve ever seen last night. Put them on ignore is about all you can do till it’s fixed

People just carte blanche spamming hard Rs in chat on anniversary since Friday with no way to report them currently in game.

I don’t know if something has been fixed since the last player posting here, but I just popped on to try and it went through and gave me a confirmation?

Never mind. Even though it gave me the confirmation pop-up, it printed a line in the chat.

The report system appears to work at first. One fills out the report, one is given a Thank you for your report!
In chat, there is: “Report system unavailable.” And the inappropriate chat does not disappear.
Maybe it goes through, but with the error in chat and the reportee not being blocked, it appears on our end to fail.
Edit: Leilleath has it above. That is what is being seen.
Edit edit: This happens for reports for inappropriate chat, names, hacking/botting, those being the only ones I’ve had to use since this started. So probably all?

Exactly as shown in the screenshot that was posted above.
The big report window says thank you for your report but there is an error message in chat that says Report system unavailable and the offending text does not become hidden like it normally would after you report someone.

It’s been several days already…bug reports have been submitted. This needs to be a priority.
We can’t say what the development team has on it’s plate right now, so setting priorities isn’t something this forum can address.
