I am forwarding the link from the original. I followed the troubleshooting steps but still got the error message.
I wasn’t specific in the original post but i get the message both in the chat box and on screen in red letters. I still see the thank you for reporting box.
I wonder if it is likely my account may be breached as i have been reporting in a particular area for 2 months and those who have been banned are likely retaliating or trying to stop me via hacking my account.

Nope seems to just be the report system is down right now, it is giving me the same error message and it just started today for me.
I saw what must’ve been two dozen bots in Org just now. They stick out like a sore thumb especially with their little murloc markers. You can see them hiding like cretins in every crack and crevice. I can’t wait for my housing neighborhood to be 50% bots.
Just tried to report and got the message. The bot farmers are going to be enjoying this bug.
Yeah, I noticed this the other day in group finder. Now I tried to report someone for making d**** threats in trade chat and was told the system is unavailable. This is absurd. Billion dollar social media corporation with millions of interactions a day and safety is this low of a priority.
I am experiencing this bug on both alliance and horde characters on Dreamscythe-US. It started 2 days ago.
I reiterate what Bolthar just said. Dreamscythe: unable to use chat report player feature, therefore, we can’t report a player and hide their spam in chat.
PLEASE fix this.
Still getting the error for name reporting and can no longer post in the thread that you linked as its been closed…

Same symptoms as before? You submit the report but the log says something about not being able to submit the report?

This issue still appears to be occurring. It may be linked to the intermittent DDoS attacks blizzard has been suffering. I have tried reporting multiple RMT services but have gotten 100% failure rate on this. I am unsure if this will be fixed any time soon 
An absolute onslaught of adverts by bots trying to advertise chaosboost dot com at the moment (I’d suggest not going there kids, lest you find your bank accounts drained and/or their bot-spamming your favourite games increased). Keep getting the same error every time I try to report them (“Report System Unavailable”).

Still bugged. Not really sure what more information I can provide. Maybe I can crack open fiddler or wireshark on the off chance it’s a network problem.
