I’ve tried to report people bypassing filter and saying racist things, the boost sellers in lfg, etc and every single time, with all addons off or on fully updated says unavailable, fix your _.
Send your report to hacks@blizzard.com with the details of time date realm and character or characters information in the mean time. I know it’s not good but at least we can report this way still.
Customer Support is not development of the game, nor have any involvement with any form of development, including bug fixing, of the game.
It is noted there is a a bug, so, need to keep reporting it to the Bug Report forums.
Just want to mention this, the hacks email is primarly for hacks, cheating and exploits.
except this is a massive problem. a lot of players wont take the time to fill out a ticket.
I don’t think that anyone is arguing otherwise to be fair.
But Ayukama is correct. There’s nothing CS can do other than possibly let us know if a fix is in the works. But that’s about it.
Additionally, if people do misuse the hacks email address for anything other than hacking, exploiting or cheating, then it just gets tossed anyway. Those are the things they can sometimes gather info from via that email. It’s not a catchall for anything else.
While this is a problem, Breadisfunny, there is a few things to factor here:
Customer Support forums is a player to player help forum. We help here with navigating people in the right direction if they have any problems. The Customer Support forums is not a place to demand something to be fixed, especially when the SFA’s here have no involvement with any development of the game. The Customer Support forums is not a place to report bugs, that is why we have a bug report forums. The Customer Support forums is also not a place to report other players.
Nothing can be done here on Customer Support. Vrakthris, Orlyia, or any other Support Forum Agents, they can’t just suddenly fix the report function in game. That is left for development. As Perl mentioned, the only thing they can do is confirm for us if there is a fix in the works. Outside of that, they can’t do much.
