Replace "Slice and Dice" With an "Icy-Talons"-like Buff

They want to see the numbers flashing and flex on the damage meters. If it doesn’t do direct damage, they don’t it.

You can level a new main and your professions to max before Blizzard will change anything to your liking or not. This is a problem with you, not rogues.

Look up “remove slice and dice” on google and you’ll get plenty of people asking for the Same thing I am.

Frost Rogue or IceBlock Rogue
maybe Frozen ShadowStep spec.

Ah, the good old “do your own research” from the vocal minority. I remember hearing something like this from some people right before they ate horse dewormer to death too.

There’s nothing interesting about pressing S&D. It’s not a rewarding button press. It’s literally a maintenance buff button. It’s not some grand expression of unique skill. It’s just a maintenance buff.

You do less damage without SND up. Therefore it is rewarding to use. You are rewarded with more damage. You are punished with less damage if you don’t use it.

Rupture doesn’t have a flashy animation and it exists only to be a maintenance debuff. Should we remove that too? Or weapon poisons? What else do we need to remove to achieve the afk auto attack class of your dreams?

I’d like if the rogue pvp talent that gives slice and dice after using kidney was baseline tbh

Slice and dice is almost exclusively the one thing that always makes me annoyed when i play rogue lol

I didn’t say it isn’t rewarding to use, in terms of damage value. I said it’s not a rewarding button press.

Refer to above.

Who ever said I was interested in an afk auto attack class? It certainly wasn’t me.

I’m just telling you that S&D is not some grand expression of skill. It’s an unrewarding button press maintenance buff. Not unrewarding ABILITY, but unrewarding BUTTON PRESS.

I’m glad the rogue in full blue 351 gear thinks it “feels completely fine”…

A lot of the time it feels like a plate to spin for the sake of having another plate spinning.

You are a minority in this thread - it is a game problem.

When I play more rogue SnD isn;t something that bothers me, it is roll the bones when I play outlaw the rubs me the wrong way.

outlaw currently has like 13 or 14 buttons in the rotation. and although i like SnD, id be willing to give up anything to reduce some bloat.

Hitting Sin Strike does literally nothing for you; only the attack damage does.

Wanting unnecessary bloat out of the game is none of what you said lmao. Strawmaning is pathetic. Be better kid.

I stopped playing my rogue after they added SnD back. Maintenance buffs don’t feel good. It’s the same reason i never took Seraphim on my ret pally.

My preferred spec is assassination, and i know you never need to press it more than once per encounter, but it’s silly that they brought it back at all when it’s just a nothing button. Perhaps i’d feel different about it if it didn’t consume combo points and just had a cooldown.

I don’t mind using SnD but it would be rad if they rolled it into Ghostly Strike with a 40-50 second duration.

If the button does nothing meaningful then why does it need to be made a passive? It can be removed completely since it does nothing meaningful.
