Replace "Slice and Dice" With an "Icy-Talons"-like Buff

SnD is important. Dont make it a passive.

Like any quality Ginsu knife, a quality Rogue slices and dices.

I think what they could do is make it so you have to be in combat for a couple of seconds before it can be used, then the button highlights and gives 45 second duration with 40 second cooldown.

There is nothing enjoyable about using combo points on slice and dice.

There’s nothing enjoyable about having to weight to get into combat to apply buffs

You’re right, but it’d be insanely op to prebuff slice and dice for free. Compromises must be made in the name of balance.

Nah, i’m absolutely fine with costing CP

Every day I am so thankful Blizzard doesn’t read the forums at all and doesn’t balance around what the bottom 0.1% of performers think

I personally don’t like the upkeep so it keeps me away from rogue, but that’s fine I prefer healing anyway.

The reason for the combat requirement is balance and also to preserve the feeling of ramping up.

At the very least, I’d like to see a talent that replaces Slice & Dice with what you propose so that those who like Slice & Dice as it is can keep it, and those who would prefer something more passive (I’d appreciate this), could at least have the option to get away from Slice & Dice as something that has to be constantly maintained.

don’t feel bad op. i bet half these people that are against you “click” their slice-n-dice

I’ll trade Icy Talons for S&D sure, I enjoy hitting Slice as it’s not completely passive

of coarse you click it while drinking a nice bottle of wine.

If wanted to key it, I’d have to start watching Asmongold, breathe through my mouth, and move into mom’s basement.

and pick your nose while live streaming and get it all stuck into your hotkeys… mmmhmmm

or in asmongolds case “snotkeys”

Most rogues (going to assume the majority are Assass and Outlaw) don’t even need to worry about maintaining SnD. My outlaw is constantly sitting on 3+ minutes of SnD. So idk where they’re getting this “maintaining” from. I guess you could argue that you have to keep it up with RtB buffs and Envenom? But…that’s just doing your rotation.

for the sake of argument its assuming SND maintenance talents are not taken. But yes this is further point that SND is really not as big an issue as people make it out to be

Is that even possible? I’m not online right now so I can’t check the talent trees, but it would be next to impossible to not take them.

its possible, you can skip cut to the chase on sin and pre-med on sub, even not take rtb on outlaw but its a damage loss

i wouldn’t put it past GD to take a damage loss to complain about something

If its tough maintain something which can be triggered in or out of combat best avoid BM Hunter.

3 stacks of Frenzy at all times actually takes a little bit of concentration.
