The real problem here is Blizz calling these milestones “Achievements.” You didn’t achieve anything, and other people having it in old content has no effect on you or anyone else. Stop acting like you earn things while you sit on your butt playing video games.

Its either hard work…or its not and you get it by just playing the game.
Since you WERE ‘just playing the game’ when you got PF, you are absolutely losing NOTHING by blizzard giving flight to other players in old content.
You’d have ‘just played the game’ exactly the same, PF or no PF.

I have them and I am perfectly fine with it being removed, matter of fact it probably should have been removed from those expansions when they fell into “trivial” content category.

I see a fair amount of these threads. You don’t seem to understand it’s something they literally backed themselves into a corner on. They want you to be able to level in one expansion, how on earth would it be fair that flying is readily available in some but not in others? It was an untenable situation and they did the right thing, if you’re still proud of yourself that you can save an hour leveling through Legion (probably less in WoD, just hit bonus objectives and win), well, the game moves on.
TL;DR: They had to do it to achieve expansion parity under their new leveling system.

Being forced to do WoD dailies in BFA gear is like being forced to run old raids, except without the gold/hour of old raids. Good riddance.

… Who cares? If you have them you got them when they were particularly useful and allowed you to experience current content faster.
Complaining that people are getting something easily ignores that fact. WE’VE ALREADY PROFITED FROM IT FOR YEARS.
It’s okay for people to get boosts later on after the fact. Levelling through vanilla used to take far longer. Mythic raids used to be impossible to solo. Same with World Bosses. Which means people throughout the game are getting stuff that used to take a lot more time and effort.
And y’know what? Again… who cares?

Which is another reason they are going to force new players thru BFA where PF will remain.
if they allowed newbies into ANY expansion Bliz knows full well they will figure out at some point they can just skip PF and play in some other expansion till they get to SL’s.
They did back themselves into a corner by ever making PF in the first place.

I’m glad they are removing pathfinder for both WoD and legion I’d hate to see new players have to go through such an annoying grind like I did for BfA its not fun.
100% agree, just let them level up the classic way. If they want to fly, let them do what everyone else had to go through. Why not let them walk, why have perks in the game if they are just gonna take them away.
Lol just proves that no matter what blizz does they can’t win.
most people barely even go to those old maps now days, why keep punishing the new players, I vote give them out for free

well it’s a bit of a joke honestly but this only proves that they create this kind of grinds just to add more on their hamster wheel of garbage grinds/designs.
here’s some thought that dev’s might actually not use it for SL yet again but I highly doubt it.
Years after the fact? Not even a little bit. I got both, and I’m still glad they’re getting rid of PF for flying in WoD and Legion. Frankly, they should have done this at the start of BfA.
Overall, smart move on Blizz’s part.
Does it make me angry that other people don’t have to deal with a pointless grind that I dealt with years ago? No, it really doesn’t, because I do not derive any joy from the frustration of strangers. It’s actually kind of cool when people have fun while playing a video game.

To the OP… deal with it. Life moves on and so do games. Sure, people coming later get things easier but that’s just how it is. I respect you and your right to your thoughts, but things are how they are. Yes, there are things that I’ve done that later players would have a easier go out, but I am not bitter at them and neither do I take it personally. This is a GAME, not REAL LIFE. If you want to get upset, find a worth cause in the real world to channel your emotions into, rather then a virtual-fictional world.
I think it’s great that people will not be stuck in old zones without flying anymore. I think it’s stupid that pathfinder even exists. It should never have been anything but an optional vanity achievement.
Wod takes time because of idiotic time gate. This wasn’t work…it was patience. This stuff sucks to get even as a 120. I’ve given up 1 shotting this place lol.
Achievements tied to multipart completes toed to rng. You need this assault. Will rng give it to you? Nope. How about you buy it? So In a Way wod flying was pay to win. Pay to get the assaults you need vice seeing rng giving you the same assault you did 5 times.
Unless looking to blow tons of gold for rep ite,s …enjoy the limited reps dailies too. 120’ run these fast and then go that was a fun 5 minutes. Wtf else can i do here today, nothing…

I like her can do attitude and alliance could do with more homicidal main characters. It make tyrande not stand out as the only one so she won’t be so lonely as a side bene.
