I stopped playing because of the queue times. I was alright with that because if twinks couldn’t fight twinks then so be it. Doesn’t change the fact the problems that were caused by them in normal bgs for levelers.

This comment you made was in response to what I said above and does not make sense:
This “dispute” is basically misinformation about the why twinks face massive queue times when they are in their own bracket, and insults about “lazy” levelers who get what they deserve for even queueing while levelling.
If the queues stay combined, low level BGs will not be for everyone, and will suffer in popularity as compared to a separate queue. This has been shown time and again with this game.
I will not touch low level BGs with XP off players in them, I have tired over the years, and it is just not enjoyable at all if a single twink is in the game (win or lose).
Blizzard made a poor decision in my opinion, and their justification that neither group will get queues is plain wrong. The only group that would not get queues if they were separated, is the XPoff group.

Of course it is a worthy game mode and I wish it was more popular to be completely honest.
It just does not belong in the same queue as people with XPon.
Because you have no idea what you’re going on about. Blizzard let twinks back in during Legion, but it was a dead genre so removing them again in BfA doesn’t really prove anything. Blizzard had killed twinking long before that. The initial implementation was bad and I told you why although I doubt you’re going to believe anything except “twinks don’t want to face twinks”.

It’s not even a wrath thing…he had a strong twink community on classic since 2019 vanilla, there were entire discords for twinks and mankrik held twink tournies n stuff, not sure why people complain, without twinks, low lvl bgs would be dead.

no, cry babys like you kill things, twinks is the only reason why bgs have low qs, you cry over the most silly things.
Twinks only queue for lowbie BGs in the hopes of getting to feast on non-twinks. Otherwise, Retail twinks would have survived. And it takes a full community agreeing to queue on specific nights for 2-3 games even happen in Classic.
Twinks kill lowbie BGs. Just like WSG premades push so many players to any other BG. Not my fault you’re tying your emotions against those facts.

This might be true, but I suspect it’s the exact opposite; twinks revitalize lowbie BGs.
When twinks start showing up in BGs, twinks become the only people queueing for BGs. Doubly so for the ultra toxic level 19 twinks.
That’s not what revitalizing is.

Thats exactly what happens in regular level cap BG’s… Except at level cap the gear gap is way way way bigger.
The only level bracket I avoid is 19, and for no other reason than the people who play that bracket, not their gear.
Once heirloom gear is out it will be fine

Twinks get crippled in wrath from the leg armor and certain enchants. So, it’s not entirely awful.
But don’t forget why people have twinks in the first place, it’s to just dunk on players in BG’s with a friend or two.

I’ve had games where I’ve gone like 50-0 or more when leveling twinks out of their bracket on retail.
It’s super fun sure but not so much fun for all the other peoples games you’re ruining.

WSG is the only BG where that gear difference is going to make a huge difference, and is also the only BG in TBC I’ve seen premades do on the regular. It’s also where the absolute sweatiest strategies show up constantly.
AB + EotS are not an issue for people in fresh-ish 70 gear. Both BG’s are almost more about communication, and are relatively uncommon to see a full stomp in.
And AV is AV. No one gives a crap about gear, except the dumbest players who typically have crap gear themselves.
I see quite a lot of blowouts in AB and EoS, but perhaps because I do these a lot. In all honesty I see no difference in win / loss between AB, EoS or WSG.
Gear is massive, but yes communication is big, but its also big in WSG, just in the same way strategy is crucial in the standard BG’s
