So sick of this false rhetoric about twinks not wanting to fight twinks, total nonsense; it more exciting if there is enemy twinks, not less. Twinking is fun but there is not enough players doing it to support separate queues. When people see an unavailable queue time they give up.
Twinks were around for all of vanilla and tbc, and just because you levelers dodged bgs - that were relatively pointless for you - then doesn’t mean that now, when there is an xp incentive, you should get to ostracize twinks into a dead queue.
There is so much excitement and activity in the twinking communities because of the announcement, when we thought for sure twinking would be killed off in wrath. Now because of a few bad games the levelers that previously avoided BGs entirely are trying to act like they soley own the rights to those BGs - that twinks need to get lost. Pathetic.
19-29-39-49-59-70 are the brackets. peopel are just complaining because they are too damn lame and lazy to invest time and golds in their twinked chars and they hate to get facerolled in the dirt by a guy whos 10 levels lower than they are while wearing greens
Yeah I know the brackets, just remembered back in the day when I made a twink, we couldn’t queue with others if we had exp turned off. If you telling me we can quque with anyone now vs the long wait time we once had then Ia m about to go make some twinks.
not really, you want to think that way because youre too lame to invest time and money on your chars. imagine getting beat that badly at 37 by a level 19 with better stats than you hard on your feelings isnt it?
Does there need to be a solution? The queue is a gamble either way. If that gamble is a bit heavier because of twinks then so be it. If one faction does all the twinking and kills the queue farming levelers without competition then yes that becomes a problem. That is not what twink players want though. If you twink you want to keep queues alive and you want some competition.
Playing 69s in tbc if the alliance had only levelers I would stop queuing entirely and go do other stuff, post in twink discord that alliance side needs help. There is no use demoralizing the levelers into not playing. Just because some bad apples will do this, don’t blame everyone that enjoys twinking.
Lets say that instead of brackets you only queue into people that are your exact level. But games never pop because there are not enough players in queue for every level. So they make a bracket 10-19 but it’s not fair that my level 10 is stomped on by a level 18! Well level 10 you have to compromise so that everyone can get into games and keep queues going. Hmm this sounds familiar. Oh that’s because queue times killed twinks, not your made up nonsense about twinks being afraid to fight twinks.
im a vet of wow, i take pride in twinking my chars to pick on other twinks. if youre dumb enough to think that i invested a truck ton of time and gold on my char for a specific bracket only to stand there and let you kill me because you were dumb enough to walk into a pvp game hoping to get honor for showing up… youre day dreaming

every character in the anime world has encouter a more powerful character. which is basicly the same thing as in wow. you can be strong for a level 36 for example but you will get your butt manhandled by a player whos 15 levels lower than you but has a truck ton of time money and experience invested in it.

Here is a better idea. Keep leveling like you said u were doing and stay out of the bgs. If you want to pvp then get some gear. I dont mind carrying you to a win but if all you are going to do is complain then you are on your own. U cant just walk in with scrub gear and not get owned. U r going to get beat. U just want to die slower. I am positive that anyone whining about twinks is probably the lowest geared player.
So just remember this. You are just taking a break from leveling. Deciding to go into a bg for a change of pace. Those twinks you see. They WANT to be there. So leave them alone.
I bet you cry about arena gear in end game pvp also. I guarantee u r one of the lvl 70 boosts that went into a bg to gear your boost also.
Quite honestly, if you are leveling via bg’s you may want to “look out the window” so to speak, inspect someone who appears to be well geared, and inquire as to how to do the same.
When you’ve got an FC for example who doesn’t die in two shots, you begin to realize that being prepared for war helps quite a bit during the actual war. Instead of showing up in Hogger gear.

Yes, you should be appropriately geared. If you show up in Arathi Basin at Level 37, with an average item level of 22, then you’re probably gonna have a bad time. And when you’re done, ego bruised, you’re gonna whine on the forums about "OMG TWINKS RUINED PVP" because good lord, the problem is anything or anyone but yourself.
