The game is dead and people that care about ilvl already left, removing this wont bring them back.
You just have to accept this or move to FFXIV, there’s no TF and random catchup there.
Do you know of mice and mazes? look it up you’ll be surprised what you’ll find that are similar.

Hey whatever you need to tell yourself to cope with the fact that Blizzard’s design philosophy doesn’t align with what you want the status quo to be, have at it.
The arguments have already been made. It boils down to, “I have an opinion that’s different than yours.” Nothing more or less for either side. Except Blizzard agrees with me and not with you. That’s it.

I don’t believe it’s longer, nor is it equivalent effort. It is merely time-gated, something people love to hate yet love it when it benefits them with easier gear.
It’s less effort to a great degree.
I could log on once every 2.5 weeks and just do the warfront with perhaps an embassy for 400 azerite or 395 normal items. Warfront takes ~30-40, embassy <30 min. With a bit of luck without doubling up I could theoretically have a full set of 400 gear in less than 11 hours played time.
That is not difficult, nor time consuming. It’s gated. That’s all.

Yet,you did go for it taking your time to work for it,you could’ve just sat there like i’m doing just doing rep work because at 50 HoA there is little else to do.And yes it’s time gating as a control.which Blizzard is known to do.
Do I want to go for more 400 gear no because i know in about 2 weeks I’ll have to start over again.
Honestly is there any point to this statement? Blizzard isn’t exactly going to give you a standard piece because you deleted your TF one. There is no equivalency in that sentence.
Not to mention that the game and it’s social constructs are designed around having WF/TF now which is something they would be unable to match.

Remove demon hunters, and make the burning legion demons a playable race.
Keep warforge, remove titanforge.
+15 ilv should be the max you get out of it, that’s exactly 1 difficulty tier difference. Any more than that is too much.
Look at mythic raiders and look at LFR heroes and you will see clearly mythic raiders still have much better gear. Its not that big of an issue that us lowly scrubs get a nice piece of gear super rarely. Also I have yet to get any mythic quality gear on any of my 120’s just doing WQ/pvp/LFR The times I do get titanforged items its usually just a socket or 10 ilvl improvement.

But that isn’t equivalent work, which is what you said.
Time-gating is not effort and should not be treated as such.
Honestly speaking. You have not taken a single step into BoD, have very little in the way of PvP achievements, have not completed any of the BfA dungeon achievements and I’m sure plenty of other things.
There is an absolute ton of content available for you.
They attack you if you have a different opinion and claim that you need proof even though all they have is an opinion.

There are personal reason I haven’t done them beyond this game I’m taking care of.Sure I do and yet that is my choice do you want to make a statement about my play style go right ahead.
Just a heads up, sockets are worth ~15 ilvls. Even more the higher the average of your gear is.
That’s fair enough, I respect that. Not every everyone is in the same life situation as others.
But not doing that content is still a choice that you make based off your situation.
If that content is something you don’t intend to do there is no real reason why a steady progression through casual content that leaves you at 385 ilvl would be any worse, if not better than the current “takes 3 hours to hit 370 then you have to wait for embassies, darkshore, and TF to progress”.

The silly thing is, that the same is true for Mythic raids, Mythic +, high rated PvP, the azerite vendor.
All of these are worth nothing in the current patch, because current gearing progression systems have determined that 415 is irrelevant, not even just average.
