Remove the votekick popup

Kind of obvious he has a low opinion of his fellow players.

Do you mindlessly click accept? I’m still looking for a single player who does this. Can you believe how unlucky I’ve been since there are so many people who apparently do this?

source?

The truly toxic players will still be kicked because it’s going to be real choice of everyone and not just a button smash.
Thanks for pointing out a possible case as false therefore supporting OP’s suggestion!

Point is they should.
And you’re not making any sense anymore so, whatever. Gotta wait some hours for flags.

Asking for a source there is pretty much assuming votekick is to be abused instead of using it to root out those who hinder gameplay

another opinion on the reason.

I will add more as I find them.

Here you go, back when it was implemented.

  • A Vote Kick feature will be available in the event a member of a party is not performing to the expectations of the other members.

So based on the original intent, that group was justified in kicking that mage who did not use time warp.

Let me just add that there’s no such thing as an “invalid” votekick reason. It’s a matter of “does the group as a whole want to play with this person, or not?” It doesn’t matter if the reason is poor DPS, language barriers, toxic behavior, or a bad transmog. If the group doesn’t want someone there, that’s what the tool is for. That doesn’t mean people who use it over trivial issues aren’t jerks, though.

Except I wasn’t trying to troll at all. I apologise for disagreeing with you though. Especially since you haven’t even tried defending your point.

no way. then i wouldn’t see such gems as “went to fap” as a vote kick reason.

He did but you didn’t defend a point at all either, just straight attacked and tried to irritate everyone who you don’t like.
Love the fresh smell of flags in the morning.

I’m not sure how the op thinks this would work.

Wouldn’t people just zone in, and then “silently” vote to remove everyone else in the group?

Pretty much what i was thinking. Pretty much if OP got their way…it will still be the same. Then I would see Op coming here again whining over the same thing. >.>

No, there in fact isn’t. Most folks will take the second it requires to read who is being votekicked, glance over and see, “Oh it’s that hunter that is pulling” decide rather they care or not, and choose accordingly.

If you’re getting kicked a lot, it’s a you problem, not a problem with the system.

Attacked everyone I didn’t like. If disagreement is now attacking then I’m in serious trouble.

Well maybe you still have to learn the difference between disagreeing and bashing something?

Sounds good to me! I don’t want ANY popups in the middle if my screen when I’m trying to play.

Someone ITT tried to get me silenced… proving the OPs point about toxic people using punishment systems to abuse other players. :joy:

Yes. Remove the pop up. You can still have your voting, and if other people agree with you that the person should be removed, they will also be right clicking the portrait to kick.

Please, tell me who or what I bashed. Was it where I said “maybe you’re the one trolling?”

Why do you think that would solve anything ? Most abuses of the vote kick system that I have seen are because of guild groups or groups of friends kicking.

The situation with time warp OP mentioned is actually a valid reason to kick. He has no way of knowing how those players would have voted if they had paid attention - it is very likely the exact same thing would have happened except someone would have had to take the time to whisper to the others at the most.
