But it isn’t abusive. You have one or two examples of abuse happening. If we took one example of something bad happening with a system and using that one example to say it’s always abused then we can apply that logic to everything.
If a dog bites me does than mean all dogs are bad and out to bite people? Does my one example of something bad happening equal the experience of everyone?
You’re acting like “I GOT KICKED” threads weren’t an everyday thing in the forums.
Well, they’d be more often but the toxic community enables abusive votekicks and bashes and doubts victims.
Hahahaha you think people who get vote kicked should be making tickets if they feel it was unjustified. I wonder how many people who get kicked think it is justified, ever. 1%? Less than 1%?
Goes both ways.
If you complain when you were rightfully kicked, the penalty goes back your way.
The only way of fixing this mess is Blizzard getting into it.
There is no mess. I have never seen someone troll kicked so no, Blizzard getting involved in moderating vote kicks is a terrible idea. Let me guess, you already make tickets every time you get kicked?
Cool. It sounds like you’ve proven my point that the people who get kicked (you) don’t think it is justified and would spam create fake tickets that no one wants to deal with. Thanks for pointing that out. Like you’re actually out of your mind if you think there is the faintest possibility of them adding so much moderation that if someone kicked you for the reason “sucks at the game and is wasting our time” that you could report that and have a moderator somehow watch your entire run and then make the judgement as to whether you actually suck enough to warrant the kick. It’s not even one in a million. It’s never going to happen, shouldn’t happen and you need to get over it.
Fake tickets would get them banned and rescinded of their privilege of creating new tickets.
Therefore it wouldn’t be abused.
Thanks for proving me right.
They don’t punish people who make tickets whether they are right or wrong. 0/10 trolling bud. Anyway, you’re completely delusional about this and there is no chance that your suggestions are going to be implemented. You even imagine that your complaints would be agreed with by Blizzard so your spam wouldn’t be considered spam. You’re a joke. Good luck and good bye!
I agree with OP that the current dialog is a problem. Far too many people just mindlessly click accept. I am a software developer and have to deal with this phenomenon all the time. In my younger days it annoyed me so much that I added this dialog to they payroll system: “Stop sending me paychecks; I’ll work for free.” Over 80% of the employees clicked “OK”. When I asked them why, they said they felt bad when a dialog was displayed and felt a need to make it go away fast.
To fix votekick, I recommend changing the dialog to just notify people that “Johnny has voted to kick Susie for AFK.” There shouldn’t be any accept or decline buttons. If other folks want to vote to kick, they can right click the offender and vote themselves.
Not always actually. You may think there’s a legit reason but remember IEs when they worked based on mobs killed? People would kick the 3rd player to “have a higher chance” at rewards even tho that was BS. Some people do infact kick because they wanna make someone mad, back when legion invasions were current, if invasion had less then 30minutes they would kick 1 person and prevent them from finishing event to troll you.
I just click no mostly. I do not care what they doing. As long doing something. Only kick I say yes is in war front and you of in the corner. lfr is really more fun with jammy standing in the corner screaming at the wall to move. AS he running into it.
