Remove the timegate on the catalyst

It really messes with pvp if you do both

Not really. I’ve never been a guild that excludes someone from a raid just because they can’t go every night or because they joined last week.

Pvp is its own game and no pvper is crying they dont get tier. In fact it is better now because you have 100% control over your gear, no more vault rng on tier or weapons or dupes.

Used to be more prominent before flex, if you couldn’t make every night, you were a detriment, now as long as you’re not a tank or healer

Its part of the same game and ive hit elite a few times and am annoyed I will be pvping with lower ilv because I raid to.

I don’t think you listed any benefits to restricting tier have you?

As a raider, I didn’t get a single tier piece week 1 after clearing all of normal and half of heroic… Idk who tf you’re talking about. Raid is the worst place to get gear.

As you noted this is a bug, not a deliberate, excluding action by Blizzard. And I wouldn’t want to be the people that did this, because Blizzard is often very unforgiving of those that deliberately exploit bugs. If you killed a boss twice, you can legitimately say you didn’t know the exploit existed. If you do it enough times to get every drop, you are treading on account-banned ground.

Are we sure its a reward and not an exploit? Are we talking about the bosses still dropping tier instead of being locked out?

Why would that be? How does raiding affect your pvp progression?

Limiting the catalyst is a non issue. I dont see benefits other than pscing progression and I see why raiders may get tier faster… because raiding is the highlight of wows pve.

After the very clear warning shot last week, idk why people would think exploiting that was a good idea

False. I raided and didn’t get 4 pieces. I demand a refund!

is raiding really the highlight of wow pve?

the developers have stated that mythic raiding has the smallest participation currently than it ever has had.

mythic plus, however, has a very very very high participation rate.

according to numbers alone, mythic plus is the highlight of wow’s pve and thus mythic plus should drop tier tokens, right?

raiders who are “LUCKY” get their full sets.
Tiers will be plenty in a few weeks, the problem is the rings/trinkets.
They put an awesome trinket - uber bis and ables experiencing your class with its full potential and it doesn’t drop for 3 months, and it becomes obsolete after the season.

what trinket doesn’t drop for three months?

Last time I checked, only really lucky raiders get 4 piece in 1 week. They don’t automatically all walk out with BiS slots. They worked for it.

aberrus - nelth trinket didn’t drop for me for the whole season, I got it from the vault right before the next season, and then they nerfed it.
The point is there are really good stuff and only the luck determines your character’s progress.
I am not saying we should get everything in a week, but can I pump harder in its current season pretty please.

Except that the set has major value in M+ and now even for solo content like higher level delves.

Would I like my healing surge to get 54% crit chance in M+ just from tidal waves? Why yes, I would. People take a lot of damage in content that isn’t raiding as well.

Apparently you could re-do the raids endlessly to get warbound set tokens so you didn’t have to be that lucky. Some people got 4 sets on multiple characters.

Then why do you need the set?
Genuinely confused.

People who actually raid should get the set before those that dont.

Honestly you should be grateful the catalyst exists at all.

Bad look to be demanding this when the first iteration of cata wasn’t active for several weeks, and before cata you had no access to tier at all.

Raiding already has massive advantages of being an additional gear source.

Mythic raiding is the most rewarding content in the game by far.

Raiders already get enough bonuses this expansion by a large margin. They don’t need more.
