Raiders get their full tier set 4 piece in week one while everyone else has to wait on an arbitrary time-gate.

It’s a reward for people who raid. If you’re not raiding, you likely don’t need the tier set right now anyway. We could always go back to before the catalyst existed, so you had to raid to get tier.

people who raid should not get an advantage over people who pvp and do mythic plus

It’s not a chore to most people who raid, we enjoy it. If you don’t enjoy it, don’t do it. You don’t need the 2% damage increase from your tier set this second.

Only if they drop. People who raid and get lucky can theoretically get their tier set in one week (the week where there’s only the raid out anyway). Everyone else can get it week 2, when dungeons and such open up.
no you can’t, you have to get blessed with lottery-level RNG in your great vault or wait on your arbitrary catalyst time-gate.
Uh… no? They can only clear the raid once…

Well, lets see. The closest I’ve come to “group content” is a world boss, or stumbling upon a rare in the world that other peeps are banging on.
I solo delves, I use follower dungeons.
And yet, I’ll be able to get my 4 pc tier set. Without stepping a foot in any of that stuff, by simply standing in front of a vending machine, drag and dropping a piece of gear, and clicking the “ka-ching” button.
Doesn’t bother me at all that those who run more difficult content get rewarded faster. As such it has been since day one.

Which is exactly the same. You can get it if you get lucky, the exact criteria you assigned to raiders.
i don’t raid, so i have no reason to care.
Then you can wait for 4 set. You don’t need it immediately. Catalyst is only meant as a catch-up mechanic mostly.

raiders should have to wait for their tier set as well. either remove the time gate on the catalyst or remove all tier drops from the raid.
