People who play the “I’m a MYTHIC RAIDER” card generally think they’re special and everyone else isn’t, yes.
Let me ask you something Slayt, how would you be able to tell if you are passing by someone who is using a questhelper?

he has a classic pvp title, you can also tell if they have the tabard of protector, pretty much the best two that show if someone played pre-BC

Do not blame how you think some people behaved in 2004 for your displays of hostility and control freak tendencies.
That is not a 2004 thing, or a “normal” Vanilla/Classic thing…that is a “you” thing…a choice.
If you think you are making a case for why people should abandon addons and depend on the social kindness of others in the game, you really stepped all over those intentions.
Every time you type in another insult, you just remind me of why people often do not want to be dependent on other players unless they choose to.
You are exampling why addons can enhance the game experience for many players.
There is no good reason for you to behave so rudely to people who disagree with you.
Also, 2004 was not really as bad as you are implying. The things I have read on these forums these last few months, including your own contributions, are far worse than back in the day when everything was new and people weren’t trying to tell everyone else how they MUST play the game…
unless you were a raider.
Again, your attitude is all yours, by your own choice, and nothing to do with how people acted back in Vanilla.

No, but again Ohmygolygosh did who I was responding to.
Every other sentence in this wall of garbage is sympathy bait. “Wahh I have drama in RL” “Wah I’m only gonna play with my hubby!” Who gives a damn. Stay on retail if you’re gonna be a child. You won’t enjoy classic, it actually takes time and effort to accomplish goals.
Even if I disagree with Slayt I don’t think questioning the authenticity of his experience is a productive conversation.
And for what it’s worth Slayt, I hope what you took away from our discussion wasn’t that your opinions don’t matter. I simply hoped to help you understand where other people may be coming from on this.

No I understand that’s how you feel, but my opinion does matter. And so does yours, and Cana’s and everyone else’s here. You may disagree with my opinion and me yours, but they do matter.
I wouldn’t and this a terrible tree to bark up by the way. There are plenty of harmful addons/cheats that someone could use and you’d have no way of knowing they were using them just by walking past them.
If you download a questhelper does it tell you who else on your server is using them?
As ive said previously, I see your opinion I do. But the way you’ve been talking down to us is the reason why so many of us have become combative and defensive. Maybe in the future tone it down and keep those type of thoughts to yourself? It allows for you to have a vocal opinion but not complete bomb the firepit from the other side.
Just make your point and be done with it. This isn’t Yu Gi Oh so stop trying to activate your trap card.
