Okay? You still haven’t played for almost ANY of the content from any expansion and your legacy achievements show you killed vanilla bosses in 2008 or killing WOTLK bosses during cataclysm sooo congrats?
You still have no leverage for anything since you literally do not play this game to any significant degree and I’d suspect you sit AFK in town and rage about on the forums for how unfair this game and it’s company are.
Not gonna listen to someone about the things needed to be changed about the game when you’re wearing full benthic lmao
Addons are a part of the vanilla experience, and there are several addons I used back in the day that I intend to use again. Personally, I enjoy the guidance of quest helper addons. I was really happy when Blizzard finally implemented that into the game as a feature so I didn’t have to rely on them. Since that is obviously not going to be happening now, I plan to go back to the same addon I used before to help guide me/keep track of quests. I’m sorry if that bothers you, but for me, it’s another element of my nostalgia.
My preference is towards authenticity. If a similar addon was present in vanilla World of Warcraft, I think it should be fair game in Classic. But that’s just my two cents. I understand there are strong feelings on the issue.
I am advocating for what I wish, and that is for there to be no quest helper addons. People take umbrage with all sorts of addons are for all sorts of reasons and are free to advocate against them or advocate for them if they so choose.
You seem to have this notion that addons exist separately from the game and are off limits, but I assure you that is not the case.
You can think an addon is great and that is fine. I can think that same addon is toxic is and should be banned. You don’t get to tell me that I don’t get to have a say on addons because I can just “Not use it”
I’m going to stop responding to you, because its clear you have no idea what you’re talking about. I have Classic achievements because I… played in Classic? We’re talking about Classic, not BFA. Why would I have achievements for expansions I didn’t really play? I stopped raiding in Wotlk.
Perhaps the quest helpers today will automatically accept & turn in quests for you, but the Quest Helper of years ago did no such thing. AND you know what else tells you EXACTLY where to go for items & mob spawns with detailed maps & much side advice? WOWHEAD! Everything is there – right down to tom-tom coordinates & extra things for people without tom tom. ie: in the cave under the big tree west of the pond & south of the flight path. Are you going to demand to ban WOWHEAD next because it “removes a huge part of the Classic experience of having to find things on your own” ?
No. Achievements were added in 2008 for WoTLK, so if you had an achievement that you were qualified for before that it was awarded to you in 2008, and that is what it will say on the Achievement.
Ah yes the classic hes a elitist mythic raider, he must be hear to fight all the casuals.
Mean while ive been pretty civil and haven’t acted in any sort of elitist way. Oh and just for the record i have more casual friends then i do Mythic raiders, i have 0 problems with how people wish the experience the game.
