Remove the Questing Addons

IDGAF what your personal feelings are about questing/leveling add-ons. The rhetoric and drivel and excuses you are using to justify your argument and try to force your beliefs/views/opinions on everyone else are meager at best. The bottom line is that the LFG addon was announced it would be shut down by Blizzard and you got butthurt over it so now you are on a juvenile crusade to remove ALL add-ons out of spite. Unless you are paying my subscription fees… NOBODY is going to dictate to me how I choose to play or what add-ons I use if any, end of story

it break the immersion and overall feel of starting a quest getting lost trying to find it and then the satisfaction of actually finding it completing it and think wow this world is just so massive.

not to mention the linear way players start to play like little robots following the predetermined path the arrow send you too.

also johnas questing guides make it so players can level up super fast and get ahead of the rest because they don’t know the best and most optimal routes to travel ie death teleports and such.

so yea break all addons that take or make any part of vanilla easier.

I could say same to you. You insist that these addons are both harmless and are at best a minor convenience and hand wave any argument to the contrary without any compelling reasoning of your own.

They literally show you where to go for all of the quests.

These were not around during most of Vanilla’s lifetime, and emerged on later patches. If we’re going for the OG Vanilla experience, then most players did not have them until much later in Vanilla.

I find it hilarious that the “community” (loosely used) gets frustrated when someone makes an LFG Addon, but are fully embracing mods that clearly did not exist for most of Vanilla’s lifetime.

If we’re going to go partial Cave Man, we might as well go full Cave Man.

This is how I know you didn’t even play vanilla lmao. Stuff like QuestHelper was there for a long time and if you didn’t use that then you just had Thottbot open on a second window

I dunno if you’re endorsing the quest guide or not but it sounds to me like the questing guide should be broken before an addon does if its even more of an “advantage” as you call it.

Im so confused how does anything i’ve said make me mad about LFG? ive been a vocal critic of it in many posts here. And my arugment is exactly that, why do you insist on inconveniencing me by making me go google something about “x” quest. What do you expect me to ask you about it? Id rather not, ill just google it or you know have the information available to me ingame?
