Remove the ABility of XP Eliminated Plaers to do PvE Queued Content

The problem is content scaling. It’s a fundamentally flawed design. You get weaker as you level. In MoP Remix, if you geared up at max level, you got OP again, more OP than a 20 F2P Holy Priest (twink of choice for Remix).

Retail WoW doesn’t have that payoff at the other end.

This was also entirely predictable and Blizzard was warned

[quote=“Amethvellan-nagrand, post:1, topic:2022157”]. The game just isn’t designed for level 10s and level 80s to be in the same group. So not only did Blizzard create this problem by lowering TW dungeons to level 10, they also killed a community that farmed TW specific gear to make them a little better.

you dont get Quest credit

First, nobody is doing TW dungeons for the challenge of the content. Like nobody. So let’s get that out of the way.

Second, this can be a problem. I’ve run many dungeons on twinks and, just like being a tank in any dungeon, you have to pull/clear WAY more than you need to because people are incapable of hugging a wall to avoid aggro even when you do it right in front of them. It’s crazy.

So I, for one, do clear. And yes, I’m aware of the dungeon credit issue with Azol Nerub (in particular). I’ll typically wait for someone to get there. Most deaths though are the player’s own fault. You kill the second boss and you just drop down the hole. That’s your responsibility.

You might get sick of them. Why are you trying to decide what other people like or should have?

If I could just queue a TW dungeon on my own I absolutely would. But we don’t have that choice.

But you’re imaginging things if you think a large number of people are upset about this in practice. Vote to kicks are IME incredibly rare. People might leave after one run but it’s hard to distinguish that from people who were only doing 1 run or had done, say, their 5 TW dungeons for the weekly. Anecdotally I get thanked a lot, particularly because TW dungeons are way more of a chore than they were in DF.

Does there need to be a reason other than it’s fun? Serious question. Part of what made Remix great (and easily Blizzard’s best LTM ever) was that it was fun.

I thought TW was in a pretty good state in DF. There was an active community of people who farmed TW-specific gear. The dungeons weren’t overtuned so nobody was really min-maxing. Nobody was really complaining about people not doing enough DPS. Some farmed better TW gear just for fun, really.

And then TWW tuning nosedived. Hard. It’s a little better now but you were getting randomly one and two shot in TW dungeons in early TWW so you couldn’t make big pulls because people would just randomly die. And everything just felt liek more of a chore.

Anyway, as for why other than fun, there are some achievements that are annoying to do at max level, like you have to strip off your gear and take res sickness not to one shot things. There is a use for OP low levels. Some people also twink to play BGs in certain level brackets. That’s not my cup of tea but to each their own.
