Well, I’m speaking design-wise of course. Given how much of an impact the Blood Elves had on the game and the Horde… it’s just fair to give some bit back to the Alliance.
That’s okay, because these changes are for the players who requested them and not you.

Really sad blood elves get dumped on again and again and again. This company can’t even protect the identity of one of it’s main races but has to give in the crybabies and temper tantrum lot. There nothing really making blood elves unique any more. I feel so let down by the company.
I mean it’s taken this long for the lazy people at the company to fix Nightborne when it should have been correct when they were released NO get the jacked up Night elf model with extra jacked up effects added too it and at the same time blood elves get mugged and robbed again.
Congratulation blizzard you screwed over your blood elf players once again.

I mean when they were deciding what the new races in TBC would be. Making Blood Elves Horde was a mistake that just keeps on giving

The alliance crapped on them in warcraft 3 via garrithos and arthas. Sylvans being their embassador was the cherry on top for them to be horde.
doesn’t matter anymore I am getting closer to leaving this mess and go to FF perminatly I been watching my friends stream the game and showing me the beautiful outfits in game how the emotes work the whole game is really nice.
And yet our company can’t do :anything right cause of the developers who don’t even care. All this stuff is just pandering to try and get people back to wow.
Could’ve easily written around that if they wanted to and we wouldn’t have ended up with a group that has a massive Alliance fanbase ending up where nobody wants them

Void Elves were never Old Gods anyway. Their transformation was more like ethereals - meaning their forms are based more on pure void energy… not on tentacles and eyes like the Old Gods and their creations. That’s why they go into voidform and not multiple eye form lol

Alot of us didn’t even want void elves. We wanted high elves. This is them trying to atleast appease us. The only reason i have 4 toons as void elves is because they have high elf skin tones. I’m still not happy because its a half compromise. We didn’t get natural colors (until now) for hair nor can we be paladins, but atleast it was better than nothing.
Don’t even get me started with dumb arguments like breaking the lore. High Elves actually existed in the lore. void elves was probably the idea of one of the writers while he was probably on his bathroom break. I for one cannot wait for these changes to come through.

The options aren’t actually being mugged; you’re still allowed to use them.
You people act like void elves are newcomers to the game who are actually taking something away from you when many of us are probably former blood elf players who, for whatever reason, didn’t want to play Horde anymore. The realm I’m currently on has a unique identity, and unfortunately it’s overwhelmingly Alliance-dominated, so if I want to play on the side that is less likely to be a ghost town, I have to play on the Alliance side. Blood elf dudes are the only good-looking dudes in the game that can play as monks (the best class in the game), and you shouldn’t have to choose between playing Alliance and being able to play an attractive male character.
Maybe you people who are extremely obsessed with rigidly adhering to fake lore are okay with void elves only having really like two hair colors to choose from, but that’s extremely limiting for people who like to put together interesting transmog sets

Thank goodness for that one at least, lol. With VERY few exceptions, the High Elves never had Paladins. The Blood Knight Order was an exclusively Sin’dorei creation. No High Elf Paladin order ever existed.

I mean while we rock the title of “Void” elf then yeah paladin wouldn’t make sense.
Edit: but thats the point. I didn’t want to be a void elf (that literally didn’t exist in the lore until the last patch of legion). I wanted to be a high elf from the very beginning.
