Remove 1 hour mail delivery time right now

It has never made sense that the person buying an item from ah gets the item immediately, but the person that just sold it to them has to wait an hour for their gold.

People generally pick up an item from the auction house at the mailbox right near the AH. Mail is for transporting anything to anywhere in the world. Nobody buys something at the AH and travels far away before picking it up. So instant local delivery from the auction house sort of makes sense.

That’s because sending/receiving mail to/from other accounts is the same in 1.12 (reference client) as it is in 1.13 (Classic) and, when, after TBC launched and patch 2.13 and mailing stuff to yourself became instant, mail to and from other accounts remained 1 hour.

All you have to do is Google the World of Warcraft manual the one that came with the battle chest. There’s a PDF version you can find online. On page 149 of the manual it states any mail with an attachment takes one hour; mail that only had text only was instant. At launch you could even only attach one item to a message. The instantaneous mail with an attachment (that includes money) between characters on the same account did not come until after vanilla.
