It’s hilarious to me how so many simply accept pathfinder or even praise it as a good idea. Like a bunch of battered wives with Stockholm syndrome. Here’s what they should do with pathfinder. Ready? Remove it entirely, and apologize to the entire player base that they ever had the audacity to implement such an atrocious idea in the first place.
The idea that we continuously have to re-earn something we’ve had since the FIRST expansion is ridiculous, and part of the reason this game has lost so many subs. Not the main reason, but one of them. Imo flying should be available in new content right from the get go. As soon as we step into new zones, we should be able to fly.

having both systems is completely doable and we all know it.
And no…you don’t need to charge half a million gold per character to have flight as some have joked about. And I say joke because there’s no way anyone who is sane could take that kind of number seriously
they can have Pathfinder for those who want to grind it out once for all and they can have max level and a reasonable amount of gold per character for those of us with 50 some characters don’t want to run the Pathfinder rat chasing the cheese through the maze thing

Actually you’re right we won’t ever have to buy it again. We’ll just wait it out until blizzard decides do what they’re doing in shadowlands and let people fly in old contentfor not doing Pathfinder LOL
I do not understand any gold gripe about riding skill. I can easily make 2000 gold a day, at level 100, running northrend instances and selling everything. 5000 is less than 3 days of grinding. Pathfinder to me personally sucks and I am not even going to attempt it because because it is very boring and time consuming. Rep grinds for flight? Seriously?

5k on every toon. Okay so imagine you had 15 max level toons that you play regularly. That’s only 75,000 gold in a world where a bis ring can sell for 3 million. It’s a NON ISSUE.
Pathfinder exists to increase time played metrics.

Nothing really, just enjoying reminding you that Shadowlands will have pathfinder also and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Yes and we all should know by now what happened in WoD when they took away flying. We all know what people were doing, leaving and not playing.

Not true. Blizz said they will taking in feedback earlier this alpha, and that they failed to do a better job in the past. Sorry to break it to you bud, but Blizz actually said they want as much feedback as possible.

If we were allowed to gamble here I would make a bet on that. With all the changes so far it does look like they are finally learning their lesson.
