Its a UI update…you will still be using your addons that you like IF the UI changes arent enough for you.

I dunno, I mean, when these changes first were announced, I remember at least a few youtubers going “YoU wOn’T nEeD aDdOnS nOw!!!”
And I remember thinking to myself “heh, yeah right, believe that when I see it”.
And they were so close, too. And now you have the slavering fanbois defending it vehemently attacking anybody who even has minor criticisms of it, which only cause people who are minorly annoyed to actually get even more annoyed to the point it turns into a flamewar.

could you move the XP bar with the old UI? No. Will you be able to once they fix it? Yes. Irrelevant.
IF they fix it.
Who knows, maybe they think that’s the one-and-only place the XP bar should be, for all we know.
They’ve made asinine decisions like this in the past with other stuff. In the Old UI, it was small and attached to another UI element and barely used up any screen real estate whatsoever so few really cared, it was functional, it stayed out of the way. /shrug

At a point it is whinning. When people actively seek out people who like the new UI and attempt to coerce them into the reasons they shouldn’t like it. When somebody shows exxessive anger, and toxic behavior about it. Constructive feedback has always been fine, and it has a distinct look, because it’s actually civil and productive. As soon as the whinning and complaing happens, it loses credibility. This is simple social stuff we learn at a young age. You want something, you ask in a civil manner about it.
I think it’s obvious most of the complaining isn’t done in good faith. I’m not saying their hasn’t been a few civil people stating valid arguments. Most of it seems like a game forum lurkers play to get a rise out of people.
I mean, how many posts have we seen like.
“Blizzard, please consider improving this aspect of the UI, it causes (this) which is more difficult for me”
I’ve seen maybe a dozen of those, with the majority of people looking for a fight about it.
I think you need to actually look up the definition of “troll”.

In those threads, where myself and people like me go “I like what they’re trying to do, but… (insert civilly worded response here)” and someone pops up and goes “YOU’RE WHINING ABOUT NOTHING IT’S FINE!”

Like the people in this thread constantly attacking those who are trying to civilly discuss what we’d want to see made better, and why the old UI did actually have some merit to it.
