I like the new one myself. Besides, it won’t be long before an addon will be out to wallpaper of it with the old layout.
Whine about a UI that is fine but still play this game which is garbage? LOL
Because these “fixes” are mostly subjective. Between 9.2.7 and 10.0.0 they added over 10x more code than the entirety of Bartender has right now. The entire codebase is almost 100 times larger.
No, it’s better if you already used a UI mod. The people calling it absolute garbage are the people who didn’t use a complete UI overhaul mod because they didn’t need or want one.
I can’t watch content creators anymore. I want to stick a hotdog down their wide open mouths in their thumbnails. Its a dream of mine. There are a few good creators through that are good ambassadors for the game. So im glad they exist, and they don’t get the hot dog treatment.
my beef=no opt out box to check. glad you and others like the change and are enjoying it though
Doesn’t seem so by the number of people disagreeing with you.
This. I’ll watch an occasional video from Kelani or Stankie every few months, but that’s it. I generally get my information about wow from reading.
Who said it was amazing, exactly?
Also, here’s a pro tip for the OP: If you think somebody you watched misled you, don’t watch them anymore.
Nice to hear the changes are working out for you, I would have still liked an opt out option. Hope they even get better for you in the future.
They did, though. The updated interface is a vast improvement over the old one.
I happen to like the new UI, I even delete elvui to use it.
Oh… “every” one.
I see.

I have to because I have to do it every time I log in because the damn UI won’t save!
I know that this is still an annoying workaround to have to perform, but you do know you can export a text string and save it in a notepad file or something right? At least that way you can quickly copy/paste instead of having to set it all up manually every time, until they get that fixed?
actually we usually use add ons that are much more detailed and complicated…this one is just bad…it looks like a 12 year old designed it while learning at it got releases before any testing with basic level bugs… compare it to any other bar suite mod out and its a kids toy compared to what amature moders have put out… CTmods, Dominoes, Bartender…the list goes on and on for things done by fans that are much more polished than what a paid programmer put out.
You can’t “make it look how you want” because half of the UI elements can’t be resized or customized. They gave us no options for some that should have had options (like removing the animated faces). Can’t move or remove or resize some of the more annoying ones (like the talking heads).
You can move SOME of the UI. You can do SOME limited resizing.

So, an AAA studio writes ten times more code and somehow does worse than a small addon that has been around for years?
lolwut?
What is IN those 100 times larger codebase?
Sounds like horribly inefficient spaghetti code to me.
Looks at calendar
It’s not Sunday OP, stop this foolishness at once!

I use a UI mod.
I think the new UI is better than the old UI.
I just think my UI mod is better than the new UI.
However, for those that don’t use UI mods, the new UI is head and shoulders above the old one.

Because the default UI does a lot more than BarTender does, if you can’t grasp that concept I don’t know what to tell you.

That’s your opinion.
In some ways, some things about this new UI rather annoys me.

I was under the impression that bartender lets you move and resize pretty much everything on the UI? That alone accomplishes more than the new official UI, lol.

move and resize pretty much everything on the UI
You have the answer right here. Without the default UI, Bartender would have nothing to move and resize.
