Reins of the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur

as a suggestion in general i think bliz should make a Proto Mighty Caravan Brutosaur and put it on a vendor for gold cap, since that price point is going to happen any way on the BMAH. people who can afford it dont have to play AH tycoon on every single server for a chance at the thing and that alone may help the over all pricing of things.

and since it would be a different mount ( with same AH function)
it would not detract from the original mount owners

Glad I bought it for 5 million day one of the BFA expac. Used all my gold from WoD and Legion for it. Best purchase I ever made in game.

im pretty sure i wouldve also put in the time and effort to get the mount back then but as a fresh player it was close to impossible

I did the same thing Eve on day one of BfA…glad I did too…its damn sad that the newer player base got kicked too the curb and won’t be able to get this mount as it stands now when it hits the BMAH it goes for cap 10 million…

i added a tl:dr to the post hope it helps.

or
just put the mount back on a vendor and let anyone with 5m gold buy it.

this mount should never have been removed.

and no I’m not jealous. I have it.

I’ve made another post by a famous goldmaking youtuber he explains the situation better if u get a chance please have a look at it as well
-"Blizzards 30 MILLION Gold AH Mount | The BIG Mistake" - Studen Albatroz

I agree with the caveat that it should be gold-capped to account a bit for SL’s gold inflation, as well as balancing with those who FOMO’ed hardcore and potentially dumped tokens up the wazoo, in that those who did FOMO hard were able to get their mount at half-price.

The way Blizzard handled this was beyond dumb. Probably dumber than locking Panda and WoD story behind FOMO.

Youd do just as well to have an AH character to mail stuff to.
I mean, if you had the gold to blow, yeah…but I do just as well as any mount owner for keeping my auctions going.

Today…that might be true.
Im casual enough…dont take the game seriously at all, but I made 800k gold in less than a week on the ah just flipping one mat. (yeah, you got to catch it while its on a run).
If you put some effort into it, you could make 5 - 10 million pretty easily, Id think.

Sucks that some folks still want the mount and theyve made it unavailable though.
personally Id buy it if it were 500k or less. Even 1 mil is too much.

+1
yeah, that genie is out of the bottle anyway.
And all one has to do is take engineering and they can avoid cap cities anyway with all those AH’s all over the game if you have Eng.
Just let players buy it for pity sake. Its not that big a deal

Great points , i do send all my stuff on to a banker toon but the quality of life from the AH is too amazing to have an AH on the go do you not find it to be broken?

Dualbox. Banking toon in Org in one client, all your other stuff on the other.

I am perfectly okay for the mount to return for gold cap on a vendor, it gives the player base a new found goal in gold making and making the goldmaking community more vibrant.

no, not broken at all.
They want us funneled thru the capitols. Thats the only reason to remove the mount. Force you to hit Org or SW to go to the AH. Makes the game look busier than it actually is. Why else do we have the phantom NPC ghost running down the Orgrimmar portal room hall? lol. They need it to seem busy.

If you take Engineering you have AH’s all over the place anyway. So what difference does it make if its on a mount ?
Frankly, Engineering should have had a bot AH they could craft already anyway lol.
They have to understand, we’re not going to be any more likely to ‘mmo’ regardless of the AH situation. Mount or no mount, Im a fairly solo player and thats not going to change just because they try to force me into Ogrimmar 5 times a day to empty my bags at the AH lol

with 2 monitors lol

Again very well said and definitely i get why the mount isnt such a big deal, if so then why not just bring it back what’s holding them back.

I agree on your point of the old cities going barren because of it,
but anyways many old major cities are left barren maybe stormwind and orgrimmar are prolly the most populous. Im sure our great developers can come up with a better idea to populate other cities rather than just deleting a mount.

I would like to believe they are…but honestly…with what ive seen the last two expansions, lol…
They seem to have a habit of OVERreacting to every little thing. Running with anything that pops into their heads, then even when its determined to not have had any effect, the obstinance kicks in and they double down on it. We’ve seen this time and again and they’ll keep right on going until the subs start dropping enough to hurt.
Its a ridiculous cycle with this company.
My guess is every player in the game could have the AH mount and nothing would change with players playing habits at all. So then, why remove it? What purpose does it serve?
if its about it being ‘rare’…fine. Create another AH mount, make it something entirely different so the rarity isnt affected for the players who have the original.
But this time make the price more reasonable so everyone can buy it.
Id’ write blizzard a $1000 check personally IF they did just make another AH mount, sell it for 500k gold on an NPC somewhere and doing so had any effect on player behavior as far as participating in group content.
