On the same note, we could also argue that LFR, LFD, cross-realm gameplay, WoW Token and all the current conveniences that exists in retail could be applied to TBC as well because… well, they were all design things that they changed.
So remove HIT, expertise, weapon skill. Lets have only haste and crit.
Let’s have 30 min hearthstones.
Let’s add achievements right now.
Let’s add unlimited boosts.
Let’s add LFD and LFR.
You keep suggesting that merely wanting something for the sake of convenience is a totally legitimate and worthy enough stance to alter the game but then Im going to ask for something convenient that I want that I know you most certainly would not want and you’re gonna tell me I cant have it even though I perfectly fulfil your own criteria and standards for change. So you cannot honestly believe that and are a blatant hypocrite or you are truly fine with every player convenience asked for going in upon request - neither sounds like an appealing environment for an RPG enthusiast.
None that you will be convinced by because you’re already openly admitting that you prefer convenience over investment and management. Youre mind is closed off to any other potential styles of play that arent yours. Why bother? You’ll tell me what you like, Ill tell you what I like and you’ll tell me Im flat out wrong for not liking the same things as you and since Im wrong and youre right dual specs should be in the game asap.
Not the most compelling of stances but its way more nostalgic than actual TBCC itself - people whining for stuff they dont need and havent earned saying its vitally important and 100% deserved.
Profits is arguing from a position that already assumes and declares that dual specs are in and thus has to “refute” arguments about what dual specs does or doesn’t do in game. That’s not a legitimate discussion because the prerequisite to have that discussion is the argument that got dual specs into the game into the first place and that hasn’t been satisfied yet.
There is nothing suggesting that dual specs be added in TBC. The players are suggesting it but so what?
So, wait, are you outlining a theoretical conversation with me as if you know how I’ll respond?
I hardly think you know me well enough to make such an irresponsible judgement. But try me. Make a suggestion about what you want and see how I respond.
I dare you.
It won’t be how you think it will be.
No, I prefer convenience over being continually punished for making a choice. If Dual Spec cost 1000g, then you invest and pay for it and manage two specs the same as you’d manage one spec.
You gain nothing but time by implementing Dual Spec. Same as why they did HvH BGs. To reduce queue times. HvH ensures players gain nothing but time.
This isn’t my style. This is Blizzard’s style. I didn’t invent Dual Spec. Blizzard did.
I have no idea what you do or don’t like. Why would I? That has no relevance to anything. Blizzard doesn’t reaches out to you specifically to ask you what your likes or dislikes are. Same with me. The word of Kumasama has about as much bearing as the word of Corpseknife.
Again, how many people play this game for any other reason other than because they want to?
